Not a great result but a satisfactory one they have a much better home record than away. Despite what some people think there are no easy matches

Pfffff….2 points dropped there. We had enough against a very average team to win that.

Cook was poor today. However given how much he has saved us this season he 100% can be excused.

Cook poor. Walker and Darbyshire cannot get through 90 mins. The likes of Costelloe been absolutely nowhere near good enough and in turn weaken us, just shows the reality if Cook, Walker or Darbyshire aren’t fit, form or on the pitch, we have virtually no goal threat.

Platt’s red was poor discipline from him. He didn’t need to get involved for the first yellow and thus set himself up for the inevitable. Really disappointing IMO.

We weren’t terrible, but hard to find many positives. For all Smallwood frustrates me I thought he was one of the better today. Gillead edges it for me but also thought Walker and Halliday were decent.

Todays result tells me a lot……

I think Banks was poor because Chapman was sulking last week.

@banbrotam@banbrotam told me that it makes it difficult for him to play, or even run when he does that.

Non there aren’t, but are you honestly saying that game wasn’t there to be won? Compare Crawley to even Grimsby first half last week - incomparable for me…..Grimsby much more of a challenge. My point, when there are no easy games damn well make sure you are clinical on those when allowed to (look at Mansfield today) - we didn’t do that today.

We've not lost ground on the Top 3. Stevenage drew. Northampton got stuffed. Yes. Stockport won - but we can still catch them.

6 clubs in for automatic promotion

6 clubs in for the play-offs

We're one of them, which is a significant improvement on the last five seasons.

Very dangerous game over. I didn't fancy us. Look at Crawley's recent home record and who've they've beaten.

Finally, I saw a team at that best, but who fought like tigers. That'll do for me, thanks.

Think I saw something on Twitter that he was bandaged up on his leg during the warmup. He might be playing injured. He just looked out of it today.

He had an off day, but I'm much more concerned by the lack of contribution from elsewhere. None of the back 4 have weighed in this season, which is piss poor. Walker doesn't contribute enough given his quality. Banks decision making is awful. Chapman has talent but couldn't hit a barn door from a yard. Oliver has been a let down. Gillead works his nuts off but doesn't contribute goals or assists.

We have a lot of wasteful or ineffectual players, given the level of general talent in the squad.

If I'm ever up before a firing squad, I want Chapman, Costello, Banks and Gillead holding the rifles.

Yes. Body language never affects anyone. Strange that Parky once told Morais to lose his negative gesturing, as it was effecting the team.

But never mind football psychology is just a load of old hogwash

There's plenty of twists and turns left this season, Carlisle have Wallsal, Northampton, Stockport, Salford and Sutton before the end of the season

Big opportunity missed again to turn the screw today.
Crawley were woeful for 70 minutes and we failed to capitalise Infront of goal, having said that the giraffe in-between the sticks had a descent afternoon.
Incident at the end involving Cook stonewall penalty.

Cook has to score at least one of his chances. Sadly his shooting boots were missing today and we have once again shown that nobody else is capable of stepping up with the goals.

Who's infinitely better than us that justifies you making that ridiculous statement?

We now no longer lose. One of only four clubs to be unbeaten away from home this year, in the entire 92.

But you've decided to write off the season when we're in the thick of a promotion rate with seven matches left. Laughable

Crawley beat Salford and Northampton at home so we did better than those at least

Exactly. Anyone laying the blame at Cook's door needs to give their head a wobble. Yes he had an off day which all players have from time to time, but perhaps if a few more of his team mates chipped in a bit more regularly with the odd goal or two, it wouldn't be such a disaster when Cook isn't on it.
