It’s not the end of the world but our chances of Automatic are getting further away every game and we have to fight to stay in the play off mix.

People might say we are playing a team fighting to stay in the league but we are fighting to go up.
It’s a poor result and it can’t be dressed up.

Don’t win on Monday then all talk of automatic is finished with.

He had an off day, but I'm much more concerned by the lack of contribution from elsewhere. None of the back 4 have weighed in this season, which is piss poor. Walker doesn't contribute enough given his quality. Banks decision making is awful. Chapman has talent but couldn't hit a barn door from a yard. Oliver has been a let down. Gillead works his nuts off but doesn't contribute goals or assists.

We have a lot of wasteful or ineffectual players, given the level of general talent in the squad.

If I'm ever up before a firing squad, I want Chapman, Costello, Banks and Gillead holding the rifles.

Honestly cannot believe I'm seeing some fans say that was an acceptable point today. Absolute piss poor result against a side third bottom. We are chasing automatic promotion and need wins to close the gap, draws won't do it and we don't have an infinite number of games left.

As for the game itself, we had too many of our dependable players having an off day all at once. Cook obviously missed two big chances but Walker, Derbyshire and Banks were ineffectual. Halliday had a nightmare against Oteh, Ridehalgh couldn't beat an egg and Costelloe is worse than useless.

Gilliead and Smallwood played well though.

Cook is allowed a day like today but it just shows how reliant we are for his goals to win games if we didn't know already. The absence of goals from defence is a disgrace and the rest of our forwards are too sparodic in their contributions.

We might not be losing, but we just aren't winning at crucial times.

I'm worried that were going to draw our way through the play offs, making it an even greater lottery...

We have to find another gear...

Just been and got tickets for this one. Over 500 sold already, not too shabby given it is the best part of a 500 mile round trip!!

And £15 for an adult and free for a 15 year old, even better

No time for experimentation at this stage of the season. If it’s forced, it’s forced but he won’t change , neither would I.

    The Grimsby goals
1st was Lewis fault, he told Platt to leave it, he did so don’t blame Platt
2nd A general melee after a fail to clear by several players.

We don’t have time to mess about. MH would get pilloried all over Bradford if it failed!

Just book them, that annoys me about free kicks as well someone stands there and the ref doesn’t bother to do anything. They need to be stricter imo with poor sportsmanship.

Purchased my rail tickets today. I managed to get it down to £36.10 (Stafford to Gatwick, including PlusBus to the ground) thanks to a split ticketing opportunity that has only arisen because of Easter engineering works.

Hopefully, we'll be bringing the 3 points home with us.

    Unbeaten does not mean anything.
    Example is
    4 games 4 draws = 4 points.
    4 games 2 wins 2 losses = 6 points.
    Wins win promotion not records!!

Way folk are talking you would think it was all over :( yesterday was never gonna be an easy ride league placing will go out of the window now because teams like Crawley are fighting to survive now along with Rochdale ........... I still feel there are gonna be a lot more twists but we simply have to go out and put pressure on the teams above ........... still think that the Northampton game will be pivotal in our quest for the automatic placing .............. win the next two then we will be firmly amongst it ..........

Obviously, if iFollow were to drastically reduce the away crowd to that extent then it would be a bad thing. But I don't believe it does. I think that most people who want to go away will go anyway, rather than watch it on iFollow. It's a totally different experience. And most who watch on iFollow wouldn't have gone anyway.

I'll be going to Rochdale, Crewe and Northampton (assuming I have enough points) but not to Swindon or Crawley. I'll watch the other two on iFollow (via VPN). But even if I couldn't watch those two on iFollow, I wouldn't have gone to those games - five away trips in under a month is just too much, both financially and for family reasons. So the club will gain money from me watching the Swindon and Crawley games that it wouldn't have otherwise got.

Some folk seem to go on like ifollow is a replacement for live football. It really isn't. I think football clubs are at last cottoning on to the fact that a live game of football should be an occasion, not just 90 minutes of what can regularly be tedium. And by occasion that means the whole day experience, if it's away game it's the journey and a laugh with your mates or a home game with a chance to meet friends.and have drink or a bite to eat. Ifollow or TV coverage will never replace watching football at the venue.

Smallwood can piss right off. Banks has been blasting free kicks in for fun in the Palace U23s, scored one for us and yet Smallwood hits the wall… his ego must be ridiculous

That’s a stonewall penalty. Just saw the reply. He takes Cook out from behind

    I actually enjoyed that.

A good old fashioned L2 match.

Fine with a point at a ground where we're always awful and when you consider the Salford, Northampton and Stevenage results - everything to play for.

Provided we win on Monday of course.

I await the Happy Clapper and I'm too easily satisfied comments ;)

What a horribly frustrating watch that was, as if we were almost trying to NOT win the game. Cook misses 3 great chances, every other attack had someone miscontrolling the ball in the middle of a great opportunity, awful crosses and selection of final ball - with Banks especially guilty of awful decision making, then Hughes brings on Costelloe which is akin to going down to 10 men, then with 15 mins left he takes off a forward and brings on an extra defender and just to cap it off, Platt is needlessly sent off.

Honestly, we wasted so many opportunities to win that game and the manner in which we didn't is ultimately why we won't be getting top 3.

    Costelloe 15 games 0 goals
    Chapman 34 games 1 goals
    Walker 18 games 3 goals
    Oliver 20 games 3 goals

    Clear where.the problem is
