Covid & Covid Passports - Rules & Logistics for City matches?

Good for you, but don't moan on here next season if the playing budget has to be cut as a result of action you and others with similar views might take.

 

Not me Storck bought and paid for mine before season started
Looks like away days in smaller grounds will be my main option for watching City which to be honest I prefer
Not the club's fault only following government directives
Are we really in a position to not sell season tickets for next season tho

 

This season the game where I have been around the most people was the Salford game, mainly because with standing at one end there were lots of people in the same area, but this ground go against any Covid Passport scheme as it is classed as small but at anyone time you are in contact with more people.

Back at Valley Parade and we have about 10k empty seats knocking about and you seat gives you relative distance from those infront and behind, compared with terracing when you have people pretty much on top of you.

Ridiculous thing to say. If the government say you have to be vaccinated to attend football matches then so be it but to be arsey about it and suggest our playing budget relies on those people who don’t want to get vaccinated for their own personal reasons is a joke. Mind your own business.

 

Although I personally wouldn’t apply for a refund if not vaccinated, which I am, you may be right legally if they don't allow you entry for something you have paid for

Oh don't be worried about that. The club can't not be trusted sign players that are good enough anyway.

Admittedly, it's only a sample size of one, but if my gig experience [in an outside venue] at the start of September is representative. Then I know how these entry mandates will work, because despite the venue stipulating that either proof of a double vaccination via the NHS app or an email or a dated photo showing the person with a negative test from the last 24 hours were required to enter. Out of the 5 of us who attended, only one had their vaccination/negative test status checked. City will neither be able to afford the manpower or allocate the necessary time to check everyone, so it'll be a lottery just who gets checked anyway.

 

And there you have it in one you would get vaccinated get a pass and be there

Everyone is free to make their own minds up about this, of course they are, all I'm saying is that if people choose to stop paying their DD payments in protest and that results in a lower playing budget, any complaints from them about that would be null and void.

 

The matches will still be played though Fordy, it’s up to the customers to either go along with the government law or miss the games. It’s a free choice after all as the anti vaccine people keep reminding us. There should be no refunds and if there are refunds and the club lose a load of money, you will be the first to moan when the player budget is cut. You call yourself a supporter of the club yet first chance you get you encourage fans to seek a refund.

 

I got a vaccine at the earliest opportunity, for the sake of my health. No one is controlling us and anyone who believes going unvaccinated in a global pandemic is s good idea to "prevent Govt control" needs there head testing.

 

And they should be taken to court for non payment of a contract.

 

That won’t happen and the club would lose.

 

Like I say I understand the clubs dilemma and I don't blame them they are just towing the line however you don't pay for something that you can't use and if it means me not being able to attend city games so be it I just won't go. What I will do if I am in arrears when the time comes will make sure the amount of games played would be correct against the ST. So if we have played 1/3 of home games I will make sure I have paid 1/3 of my ST.
