It's only half an hour out of your day anyway and if you're a pensioner and not working maybe couple it with a trip to a coffee shop or some lunch and it ends up being a nice trip out.

the problem is there are limited numbers of doses available in the world and whilst areas are not vaccinated there are more chances of variants emerging.

 

Your correct this may sound selfish but until we can get on top of it in our own country then there is no point in trying to control it in third world countries although as you say it may throw up more variants but that could also happen here a tough call.

 

I can see that POV, but the vaccine doesn’t last forever most likely the effects are starting to wear off for those who got their first dose in December/January. If we don’t administer boosters here I’d expect to see rates climb steeply and deaths with it unless further lockdowns. There is also the chance of it mutating here as it has done previously. There needs to be a global effort to increase supply, but it doesn’t mean stripping our own citizens of something potentially life saving.

 

Krankie is pushing on with Covid Passports. She however is putting it to a vote in Scotland's parliment but with the Greens they have the numbers to pass it.

I'm still not convinced it will be introduced here in England and that is has only been used as a push for people to get vaccinated which wouldn't be followed through.

I know previously that some people here were in favour of them, however those people have happily been attending Pubs and City games with the "unvaccinated" without issue for the last month, so I wondered if they still saw this as a required course of action seeing as they have been fine without.

 

Scotland is going nuts. She probably feels like she has to do something although still convinced that the passports aren't the way.

The shop owner had her second jab in May. Tested positive for a second time, lost her taste and smell. She's complaining of pain in the back of her head. Still recommended people take the jabs.

This lot can only see as far has the Premier League, fox hunting and polo mate they havent a clue about life below the premiership and the day by day struggle to keep afloat.
