I'm not saying 2 weeks. Trump is saying that for US.

I'm saying 12 weeks like Boris is hinting. June would be decision time.

Boris said peak is May-June and I feel after that he will be acting like Trump either way.

As for the measures I am sorry but the self employed haven't been covered and companies like spoons have already shown their hand. People will lose jobs mate.

The reason for this lockdown now is to try to make sure when May comes the NHS can cope because it's May when it's really meant to hit the fan.

Interesting meeting at work today. Over 80% of our staff have been furloughed, I’m being kept on as part of a skeleton staff, because as a manufacturing company we’re seen as a key business, which when I think about it, I suppose is true, just not as important as others, we do supply the NHS, police forces, pharma and councils, amongst others..But, the thing I picked up on, is the 80% wage that the government is paying, this has to be paid by the company, and can’t be claimed back till the 28th of April, a lot of companies won’t have the cash flow for that, especially if the work has totally dried up,

 

Unfortunately as a guy is saying on TV now they are only advisory not law, the initial fine is £30 but how would the policeman know if it was his/her first time out or not, also saying the army will not be stationed on the streets they will be mainly used for logistics getting medical equipment and other things that are required to the right area's.
I wouldn't think it people can't self control there would be many MPs or members of the general public disagreeing with maybe emergency laws being brought in.
