Tablets being produced, 14 days decision to be made on people back to work, team will be sent to Olympics if goes ahead and now death rates low on this virus.

I have seen pictures of people queue round the block for one last McDonald's. We are dealing with idiots who prioritise a Big Mac over their own life ffs

And you're an advocate of this approach?

I'm an accountant and we are not on the list therefore we are not forced to close, however we are all working from home and there is no client contact. I'm pretty much taking rapidly changing info, getting on top of it and then advising my clients on what is available to them and what to do.

That guidance was clear enough to tell fat Mike Ashley his business should be shut but to stir things up and play idiotic games in such a dangerous time they announced they would stay open. I really hope the public don't forget stunts like this, but then again this is a public that went to the seaside at the weekend and were queuing round the block for a last McDonalds.

Why hasn't London removed the congestion charge and make car parks free to take the stress off the underground for key workers?

If I missed that then fair enough and it's a step in the right direction. With the pictures of the tube this morning I presumed it was still in action.

Mate, Boris will be doing it soon enough. It's impossible to continue like this for much longer.

The issue is that Boris needed to protect his people first. The self employed situation needed addressing, single parents & over 70's need looking after too. Key workers shouldn't be charged for parking etc. Council tax frozen.

You really think the country will be able to continue like this? No, so come June I expect Boris to act like Trump unless you want to see millions on the streets and out of their homes.

The 80% of 2.5k and companies are still letting staff go.

Like it or not a tough decision will be made at some point by Boris and I think it will be in June.

surely it should be easier to say every business must close and then list exceptions by type

Bit of basic advice I heard today..Act like you would if you had actually had the virus, ie- keep away from folk. And anything you touch that other members of the public have, say a door handle, act like it’s covered in dog shit and don’t touch your face till you’ve washed your hands.

Tough decisions are already being made. I just can't get a sense of what it is you're actually wanting. You seem to be a supporter of the approach Trump is outlining, i.e. a lockdown for 14 days and then crack on as normal. Prioritise the economy in the decision making process. That's what you'd like the UK to do too?

I don't want to see millions lose their jobs and their homes.

I don't want to see millions in debt

I don't want to see millions in depression

Millions won't die from this mate.

It's vital we do the right things for the short term but long term it's extremely unfair for the kids of today to be paying for this. It can't turn out to be a long term thing.

Like it or not Boris will be acting like Trump soon as it's impossible to keep this up. Impossible!
