Sadly, I don’t think he is. And I don’t think he’s alone. Face it, we’re pretty much f*cked.

I'm nowhere near as far down the conspiracy rabbit hole as you are but people are seemingly losing their minds and any sense of perspective.

Yes the first part was a leg pull but I think if the second post is correct these are the very people who are going to get the easing pushing back, now I get everyone should have the choice not sure if its to the detriment of those that have been responsible and had the jab, that is those who have no underlying health issues or not eligible.

If people don't want the vaccine that is their choice. They should not be excluded from society nor should they be a reason why unlocking doesn't happen.

Have you see this garbage, Bradford council putting up sites for testing even if you don't have symptoms?

    I can picture it now.

What you doing today? Nothing, why anything in mind? Yeah, I thought we would go get tested for the lolz. Yeah great idea let's see if we have Covid even though there is feck all wrong with us and all the vulnerable have been vaccinated.

If it is the case - and I have no reason to doubt what you've said - then it isn't the fault of the people who have made a choice about their own medical preferences and are going to suffer the medical consequences of that.

It's the fault of the government and the scientists who are erring too far on the side of caution.

Johnson saying today he'd rather be cautious but irreversible. I think that's wrong, I'd rather he was ambitious but be willing to backtrack if its looking catastrophic.

If they're going to tell us tomorrow that the situation is too dire to have 25 years old in a nightclub but its perfectly fine for 78 and 95 years old to meet with people from all over the world there better be some damn good science behind it.

Healthy people getting tested is half the reason we're still in this mess. Absolutely bonkers.

Got to get the numbers up somehow to justify postponing 21.06.21

    Common symptoms of Covid:

    Loss of taste and smell
    Fever
    Coughing

But the most common symptom? Not being ill.

India started rolling our Ivermectin weeks ago and their cases plummeted like a stone. A cheap and easily accessible treatment option. For the variant we’re apparently sh*tting ourselves over. The whole thing stinks and is now a political/social crisis, not a medical one.

When I had Covid, I had the cough, I had a loss of taste and smell and my first test came back negative having stuck the swab down my throat and up my nose it couldn't tell I had the virus for something that passes in the air.

I knew that was bollocks and had it confirmed a second time. This was back in September.

Now people who are completely well with no symptoms are testing positive and people take that as gospel.

1m tests taken a day from hundreds of thousands of healthy people is likely to send back a few wrong results.

8k from 1m is a tiny positive rate. Testing has been ramped back up again this week due to children going back to school, so when they suggest its spreading in younger people that's because it's the younger people testing returning to school after the holidays.

As the article says many of the people who were admitted to hospital had not had the jab their choice you say, then you can't have it both ways, don't get the jab and people still have to be hospitalised then the opening up date will be pushed back.

That makes no sense though Bronco.

If people are simply reeping the medical repercussions of their own medical choices it should have absolutely no impact on everyone.

It's like stopping everyone driving because some people don't want to wear a seat belt.

I don't care if you doubt me or otherwise.
Of course its an individuals choice and its because of personal choice that we have that situation in Lancashire the majority hospitalised have not had the jab, so if Boris puts the date is put back and the government use that as a reason don't be surprised.

I'd call it social responsibility, unfortunately it is having an impact on others the NHS for a start.

Christ, you took that personally. I just meant I hadn't looked into it myself so I was taking it at face value.

I won't be surprised, but it won't be a valid excuse in my eyes.
