So originally england supporters club was allocated around 12k tickets . These were all cancelled and then reduced to 25 % leaving only 3 thousand Tickets between the 12k . Uefa have had the money for the original amount of tickets touching nearly 2 years . All the original tickets were cancelled last week and refunded and this a week a ballot had taken place to reallocate the available 3 k tickets . The same is happening with the general sale Uefa tickets . Wembley will only hold 22.5k for the group stage games . 3k home fans 3k away fans and rest to general sale and Uefa /sponsors etc . Scandalous

weirdly they could be empty planes. If airlines do not use the slots they lose them so there always a lot of empty planes flying around but these probably have a lot on. From reports the red quarantine hotels are very full so there are people coming in

I've just seen the latest article in the T&A regarding take up of vaccine in the Bradford district. It does seem looking at the figures that there is a massive difference in areas of the district in take up of the vaccine.

I've removed the total Vax and second jab percentage as they are irrelevant as that is time and age driven. The figure detailed is the percentage of those who are aged 40+ and are eligible for the vaccine who have recieved it.

One place has a rate of under 50% of over 40s who have had the jab where as many are over the 90%, even though the availability of the jab is the same in both areas.

I will go back to what I said about localised lockdowns earlier in the week, it is totally wrong to lockdown the whole district because of high cases in a part of the district, and these figures would support that arguement. If a surge takes place in an area where less tha 50% have taken the vaccine why should areas where 90% be locked down too?

I wonder if similar figures are available for places like Bolton and Blackburn? Perhaps similar demographics?

The Bradford figures aren't really a suprise.
Those same areas have been top of the rates for infections throughout strangely enough.

People put in excuses such as these are poor areas and have a high number of key workers and all other kinds of excuses. What's the excuse for not taking a free vaccine?

Shearbridge and university has 3 vaccine centres on its doorstep so access isn't an issue.

These two maps show the rate of infection in Bolton and the % of people over 40 who have recieved at least one jab.

I do not know the demographics of these areas but it seems clear that those with the lowest vaccine take up account for the highest rates.

Perhaps that there are safety concerns and that the vaccines are still in their trial periods?

If people don't want the vaccine then that is their choice. People shouldn't be criticised for their decision to use their free will and decide against taking a vaccine that there are still concerns about. It's the same the other way around too, people who decide to take the vaccine shouldn't be called mindless sheep. Everyone is entitled to an opinion. Everyone has the right to decide what is put into their own body. Their decisions are their own and that should be respected. There are too many divisions in society as it is.

    100%.

If you don't take a vaccine should we be surprised if you get the disease though?

The thing is though even though those naps do show a bit too surprising overlap looking at a breakdown in the cases in Bolton the increase was in those that were under 40, whereas the higher age group hadn’t seen much change

Was scanning the list thinking they were in some sort of order but then realised it is random.

    Not at all.

It's the whole risk vs benefit debate, and is why under 40s have been offered an alternative to the AZ vax.

If someone chooses not to have the vaccine and ends up with COVID fair enough. Same as someone deciding to take the vaccine then suffering with serious side effects.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. In my own personal opinion, I believe the vaccine is the best option for those over 50 and those with health conditions. As a 35 year old, I don't believe the vaccine is best for me or my young family and therefor when I'm offered it I will not be taking it.

Yeah it's a copy and paste. North West to South East seems to be the closest to any kind of order.
