Is it still illegal to hug someone to whom you have a restraining order with?

I suppose with Boris being investigated about his 2019 holidays and how they were paid for, the more good news he can get out today before the Covid press conference the better.

It's should be far lower than 3 in my opinion.

We are only finding 2000 cases per day because we are testing more than 1m people per day. A fair number of those will be false positives too. I have the LFT at home and I stopped sending in the result when it came back as negative. I guess loads are doing the same.

Boris Johnson is expected to say the data supports a further relaxation of measures at a 17:00 BST Downing Street news conference later.

Keep those injections going guys/gals we could be back to normality sooner rather than
    later.

And, whilst a few of the variants remain a concern, so far, none of them seem to be vaccine breakers.

I still think the reopening pubs indoors (poor ventilation / no masks) is the big test. Pass that one, over the next few weeks, and we're in the home straight, heading towards the chequered flag (to use a VanTamism).

I don't think pubs are anywhere near as big a test as you think. The biggest difference is the being allowed into each others homes which is far more of a change than opening up pubs.

It will probably be a bit of both but in some ways doing them both together creates a possible future problem. If the data goes up to an unacceptable level how do they see what has caused it? Let's hope it doesn't come to that.

Zero covid deaths reported across England, Scotland and Northern Ireland today.

Doesn't get more positive than that!

The graph on the press conference just then showed that the number of deaths from those who fall under the vaccine roll out of 40 is a few hundred, and it would probably be a fair assumption to presume those deaths are from people with underlying health conditions, yet it also appears that half of all cases are from that group.

Now the vulnerable are protected we need to move forward and not be scared shitless.

I doubt people are listening anyhow. Anyone who comes into my house is more than free to come into 1m of me and have been for a while.

I doubt you invite strangers into your home do you, I believe that's what he's suggesting, but if it's eased or removed all together then we need not worry.

There are a number if people who really want a variant to take hold so they can throw mud at the governement, remain relevant or enjoy longer furlough, and when another variant doesn't take hold they will probably be upset.

Masks need to be optional, I won't be wearing one. If people don't like it I would advise them to find someone where people are wearing masks.

I thought the wearing of face masks might have been advisory but again outside I cant see the point, the vaccine has been the game changer as many thought it would be.
