Do you ever see people and think "why aren't they wearing masks?" Or see the people who say covid was made in a lab as a bioweapon? (really poor one if that's the case!)

funny how you are one those people. You are part of the problem. No Covid vaccines are mandatory in any sense. (EDIT: as a doctor or in other heathcare settings it is, but there are many vaccines for them to take. but for the general public no.) but as a general HEALTH concern with THREE MILLION (that's only the confirmed) dead the least you can do as the smallest cog in the biggest machine is just take the damn thing. there's no tin foil hat conspiracy. I have not sat in my house not being able to see friends and family for you to turn around and say iTs mAnDatORy. you really do need to take a hard long look at yourself and double check your sources.

we do have a right to choose. What at the moment is forcing us to take a vaccine? even for @Campbell's soup what mechanism is out there now that stops you both from doing anything?
I am not a epidemiologist but I have read the papers regarding the trials and they are incredibly safe. 100% safe. even with AV vaccine you are more likely to get a blood clot flying on a plane or taking a contraceptive pill. if you would like I can send some PDFs to you for further reading.

There are 2 sides to every story and believe me the number of people Drs, Nurses, scientists who have doubts about the vaccine is bigger than you think protest marches against lockdowns vaccines etc are taking place all over the world but never reported on TV or in the press Covid wards full of people who have had both injections are not uncommon during lockdowns death certificates stated Covid as cause of death even in the case of cancer victims Captain Tom died of heart failure I believe but because he had covid that's all you hear he died of counter opinions are a plenty
It's a very emotive debate one I seldom participate in
Every one has their own beliefs and am not alone disagreeing with yours but each to their own I fully respect yours maybe you should consider respecting other people's opinions

I've got no interest at all engaging with your type. I have my view (and i'm no conspiracy theorist or anti vaxxer), i don't go making them public often as i couldn't care less what people of your ilk think. I'm happy you've got vaccinated - bully for you.

nobody had a problem with vaccines when kids were taking them in school, or needing them to go on holiday but all of a sudden its a scheme a con. madness.

Based on 2019 UK population data from 2019 we have a UK population of 66.65m.

By age sector, 95% of over 50s have been vaccinated, that being 23.96m of 25.22m of the population. 1.26m HAVE NOT.
Today, vaccination rates amongst all age groups 45+ stands at 90% of the population.
So in total of the 29.62m aged 45+, 26.66m have been jabbed with 2.96m NOT BEEN VACCINATED (to date)
Breaking the data down that infers 1.7m of the 4.4m in the 45-49 age group have not been vaccinated (to date). That is 38.64% of that age group.

If that figure of 38.64% replicates amongst those aged 18-44, then of the 22.53m in those age groups, 8.7m of the general population between 18-44 will NOT BE VACCINATED with 13.83m vaccinated. I tend to think as we descend the age groups, vaccination rates will fall lower and lower.

If we use my crude data, then of the 52.15m adult population, non vaccination rates will stand at 22.3% with some 11.66m UK citizens not vaccinated.
If we use the vaccination rates as of today then 5.2m will remain not vaccinated.

How does that relate to bcfc?

Imagine 22.3% of supporters not vaccinated wanting admission to the ground. Gonna be some issues as a football club.

yep they have 10% and we are currently just over 50% first vaccination done.

 

The problem with looking at the data for over 45s currently is some people haven’t been able to access theirs yet. My brother lives on edge of Harrogate and is in that age range. The closest place he can go is Elland Road, not exactly local and easy access.
A lot of the local schemes run by GPs are now focusing on the second doses for the older age range that got their first doses 10/12 weeks ago rather than doing first dose for the younger end
