No I am sticking with 70 plus mate.. You can still help the economy and contribute. As your pension is getting hammered you will drive to success now the 70 plus have more than likely cashed their pensions in and just feeders.

Think the government needs to stop being so weak and just tell the over 70's how it really is going to be for them. They will be tell them soon enough.

Read that Roy Hodgson won't be managing Palace because of strict rules for 70 plus age group, so soon from now details will come out.

Oh, I wouldn't renew you season ticket mate as football will be beind closed doors for 12/18 months if it returns.

 

Be interesting to see how higher education changes in general. Say what you like about international students but they bring a boatload of cash to the economy. Same as out here - which is why I cannot see Trump touching students.

 

No difference up here; foreign students have to pay several times the tuition of a citizen/permanent resident. But our taxes subsidise the locals through provincial funding of the universities, so the foreigners pay something closer to actual costs. This is for the standard degrees and programs. For professional programs and such, where graduates can be expected to get high-paying jobs at the end, everyone gets dinged for what can be eye-watering sums.

The scary and, I suppose, depressing, thing is the realisation that there are people out there who believe him. I missed the piece, but the news here last night apparently mentioned some town somewhere where the stores all of a sudden had very good sales of bleach. As you mentioned earlier, he really should lead the way with these miraculous treatments.

In the week ending 17 April we had the highest death total since recording deaths in that way began
Deaths in care homes were 7316 and a normal week is around 2500.

I have no doubt football will be back. The timescale, god knows. However, I'm certain the economic fall out of this pandemic, will effect all sections of society.
