COVID-19

I'm in supply chain, now mainly involved with computer components and it is becoming increasingly difficult to get stock, when you do find stock you guarantee you are paying through the nose of it. Lots of China is shut and Q2 is expected to be very very tough....

 

My stocks and shares have gone from a 7.13% profit to 3.35% over night and they’re usually very stable, damn you Corona you’ve gone to far this time

that flu is a lot more deadly than most people appreciate

 

I have to agree with people’s suspicions, there is a reason they’re making such a big deal about a virus which kills less than the common flu. The way countries are trying to contain it you’d think it were the Black Plague yet they say 4 in 5 will only get light symptoms. Something doesn’t add up.

If it was 1985, by now we might just be aware of an issue is some far flung city in China, then we'd forget about it and then it'd be over.

 

• British tourists are in lockdown at a Tenerife hotel after confirmed cases among guests
• Some UK hospitals and GP surgeries will now test flu patients for the coronavirus
• Some schools have closed after students returned from Italy ski trips with "flu-like symptoms"
• The government has banned the export of an HIV drug and anti-malaria infection treatment so that they can be tested as potential treatments for COVID-19
• Middle East countries have closed borders with Iran after it confirmed more than 100 cases
• South Korea has reported 1,261 cases including a US soldier

These are just the developments from TODAY. There’s talk of the Olympics been cancelled, the F1 in China was cancelled. All for a virus that’s ‘less deadly than Flu’. There’s something else at play here.

At the risk of over-reacting, I’m cashing in my pension and spending my final days on the piss in Vegas with a couple of 19 year old Russian escorts.

Been descent in Bradford today but as you say more rain forecast and Saturday being rain most of the day I'll be surprised if its on.
