If a Labour government had ignored all the international warnings and failed to prepare, putting frontline staff at severe risk and causing more deaths than necessary, we'd never hear the last of how incompetent they are from you.
Johnson, Hancock, Raab, Patel. A set of useless wasters. Has there ever been a more talentless front bench than this shower?

 

Probably not. But at least they don't appear evil like Blair and his cronies.

Got to admire Blair and this is coming from me who hates politicians. Played the game better than anyone, basically did a Thatcher and took advantage of the country being on its knees begging for change. Then milked it for all its worth. Sucking up to George Dubya may have made him a war criminal but hey, those tens of millions in an ever expanding bank account more than compensate.

It's what they are there for. They're not there to represent the likes of me and you, they're there to make their paymasters as much money as they can. Since the death of industry and the crushing of the unions by Thatcher the politicians role has changed almost exclusively to being filled by graduates with no experience of the real world. At least in the old days politicians had something about them and you had a definitive choice of party to go for. Now it's very much same shit different day. Way too many from a law background for my liking. Blair gave the public what the craved but in the end was no different to any of the others. I do admire his business acumen though. Him and his wife deserve credit in that respect.

 

And yet when a politician came along promising to reverse this cycle you joined in with the derision fuelled by the media mates of the people in power.

Well would you believe it? Boris has defied medical science and odds of 1/50 and is out of ICU. Most normal working class scum would have perished but not Boris, he's a fighter and no mistake. The nation can breathe a huge sigh of relief, super Boris is back.

 

Diane Abbott is ill, I'm convinced of it. She was a regular on QT years ago and was professional and erudite. She hardly seems able to string a sentence together now. I feel sorry for her. Jezza shouldn't have had her up top undermining his campaign.

 

I don't feel sorry for her at all. Not one bit. Been stealing a wage for years. Just shows why we were lucky never to have incompetent Corbyn anywhere near running this country.
