hey, i’ve sussed that. I’ve noticed others have caught the bug though.

i’m off out to try and get some extra tools from my garage bound van, then go and do a job. So you’ll have to just make do without me (i realise, like hoochies steak, it’ll be tough).

 

Malaria drugs are debatable as they tend to mask the symptoms. A friend of a friend actually died out in Bots despite taking malaria medication. By the time they got her to the hospital they were too late to work out what it was. Very sad really. In a decent country its a bit like a GP over here diagnosing a common cold, as soon as you get any symptoms they put you straight on malaria medication.

Thoroughly depressing emails from the council to teaching staff about more home learning advice and nothing about returning to school. We're in this for the long haul up here I think. This phrase 'the new normal' depresses me too. Bleak outlook.

 

Also one of the letters had your instead of you're so I'm feeling very uneasy now and quite cross.

i’ve noticed how quickly advertising companies have embraced it though. It is very depressing. There’s going to be a fundamental impact to how people interact and view each other, it’ll be a boon for some forms of social media though (if not the countdown).

 

I don't do much out and about but I do enjoy having a tea with my friend and the kids in a cafe or something after a walk or if we've been swimming. Thursday evenings in the pub for chess and a couple of zero beers. Saturday afternoon at the Cans with the lad for a pie and a Bovril. I'm not an extravagant man but these few things I do could well be a severely restricted for a good while yet.

 

Me and a mate 'treated' ourselves to first class seats on the train. Waste of brass - only got a free coffee - and the first class carriage was deconmsioned coming back up due to the large numbers travelling.

Strange day out. There was a feeling of inevitability and, despite winning, it felt more low-key than the visit weeks previously.

 

Could you do a distance-learning baking course? Only joshing, m9.

Don'y think I'll be back in any kind of education establishment til Sept.

Doctor has prescribed some anti motion sickness tablets and it will go on it’s own but could last about 6 weeks

 

Homemade. She'd booked a surprise trip to San Sebastian for my 40th which obv is no longer going ahead, so she decided to try and replicate the stuff we may have scoffed.
