Cheltenham races must be sh1t Fordy, if you are finding time to read and post on BT.

Yeah, but can't just put PL behind close doors it would be all football including us and we can't afford that.

So the answer would be suspend all sporting events if we go down that route which hopefully it won't go to that.

Exactly Fordy. Leon Wobschall in today's Yorkshire Post carries a report from finance expert Keiran Maguire forecasting Armageddon for L1&L2 clubs.

    It has started! https://www.mancity.com/news/mens/man-city-arsenal-postponed-63719481

    Manchester City today.

I think Saturday could be the last game of the season.

How though? That game is only off due to Forest owner but Brighton V Arsenal is on.

How would the season end? Lot of legal battles if we just end it now.

Can't just end the PL it would be all leagues.

This is not related to the Forest owner, read the article! However Forest Independent of Man City could seek to postpone fixtures, given their own circumstances.

In 10 days time, in a fast moving world, there is a very real possibility that the EFL fixture list could be postponed. The Government can introduce emergency legislation which could prevent it occurring.

I think we all have to accept that these are very uncertain and difficult times. Already European football is starting to grind to a halt.

the article makes clear it is about the Forest owner. He met the Arsenal players two weeks ago. Technically the isolation should end tomorrow so they can play at wEekend.

whereas Forest players met him Friday, so should be isolating for another week

It is 100% about the Forrest owner. That's why tonight's game is off because Arsenal played Olympiakos nearly 2 weeks ago.

Arsenal clearly knew about this and everyone is back in training on Friday.

It's the same guy. He owns both Forest and Olympiakos.

I agree with your broader point. We're within spitting distance of the end of the season. I couldn't imagine the remaining games being cancelled at this stage but do expect to see some being played behind closed doors.

Thanks mate will try to read that before Cheltenham.

Tranmere owner saying it would cost them 300k-500k if behind closed door games! That's a lot. A guess it would be around the same if not more for Bradford City.

Valencia had a closed door game yesterday and thousands turned up at the stadium anyway.

Behind close door games isn't the answer!

Okay. However this is no longer confined to Forest. It shows how quickly this goes beyond just one club. The guy met a few players. I wonder how many other players/officials, he has met from different teams, or other people who have then gone onto develop the condition?

Personally I think it is inevitable that games will be postponed. I hope I am totally wrong but there is a very strong possibility it will occur. I think the Macclesfield game will be one that is at risk. Time will tell.

Well the euros will have to be called off if postponements happen.

All sport events will have to be cancelled. F1 the lot. Can't just cancel football but boxing, racing and F1 happens?

Football seems to used as a stick to solve world problems.

The FA/PL made a massive mistake about not shaking hands etc.. it's about washing your hands and staying clean. That's all you can do! Not doing the normal and panick buying isn't going to help you.

I bet Rupp is happy to have the income of the season tickets bought before the start of this season, at least most of our costs at home should be covered ?.

Well no because that will be for next season budget and will go towards next years accounts.

Problem also is no one is saying why they're trying to delay things when a vaccine will tske around 18 months to develop. What no football for 18 months?
