    I don't think they had a choice - there was a £25m release clause, I believe. If he wanted to go - and he'll no doubt get a big wage rise - Burnley couldn't stop him.

    Tbf, it’s just like monopoly money though in that league, no basis in the reality the rest of us live in. Plus, if it’s anything like playing that game with my lot, a staggering amount will no doubt end up going under the table.

    if £25m keeps me up then its money well spent. Its clearly a short gap. I don't think he's bad to be fair. Weird from Burnley. Given up on the season? His buy out clause didnt kick in till the end of the season

    Very impressed with Walker today.

    It was great to see a player with good movement and the ability to find space.

    He also had good ball retention and never wasted a ball.

    Good start and hopefully will get even better as he gets more game time and fitter

    He looked clever didn’t he. We saw on the Hearts vids he can hit a football. He never really got a clear sight of goal today but he’ll rip the net out when he does……
