Good signing, City even got a mention on Scottish TV news tonight.

 

Walker is out of contract in the summer and I think he has come here to put himself in the shop window so to speak. If he does well, he may attract interest from other clubs, so we might have a fight on our hands.

Don't think we have a chance with Pereira who is rated at Luton. He is here to get regular game time

Agree he looked quality and his close control in tight areas was great and some good forward runs as well

 

He looked clever didn’t he. We saw on the Hearts vids he can hit a football. He never really got a clear sight of goal today but he’ll rip the net out when he does……

Goalkeepers at this level definitely aren't all that, and it's been frustrating watching players not trying their luck from distance.

I can remember one long ranger at home this season, I think Watt scored it, and there wasn't much danger of it being saved. Great hit it was.

Apart from the Watt goal from just outside the box I can’t think of another long range goal we’ve scored.
You watch the Efl goal programme on quest on a Saturday night and there are always a fair few decent long range strikes across all the divisions

 

I wonder whether we could tempt Jamie to sign permanently in the summer. I'm sure he won't be short of offers though.

The type of quality player we need for our rebuild in the summer.

 

He’s exactly the level of quality we should be striving to bring in, not only that but his attitude is bang on the money. Never stops running and closing down, hopefully the powers that be use him as a yard stick for future signings.

 

I'd like to see him play a few more games but he looks good.

His goal was a bit lucky yesterday in the sense of it was a huge punt that just happened to get to him.

We'll get a lot more out of him if we keep the ball on the floor. Often times, attacking its like some kind of pinball or hot potato. No one seems comfortable on the ball and we just end up passing backwards.

A couple of times at Stevenage we had a good attacking moment on the edge of their box and we ended up giving away a throw in about halfway without ever getting the ball in the box or having a shot. Why the fear? Chuck it in the box! Have a shot!!

 

Adams mentioned the situation in his post match interview and said it wasn't his hamstring, it was more of a precausion, as @king karl says Adams mentioned fatigue.

I think Adams favourite flavour is a 4-2-3-1, he used it mostly with Morecambe as well.
Quite a common formation at the moment.
When faced with Cook's absence and leaving Robinson or Angol up top on their own, Adams will go to a 5-3-2,mostly to stop the laughing.

 

I think he can play wing, forward, attacking midfield, so he could actually replace Cooke in midfield.

Cooke was really poor against Carlisle, whereas I'd have thought he'd be geed up after a little time on the bench.
