So, Caddis. I think he's bringing some much needed versatility as well as, hopefully, some know-how because we have none of that at the moment.

Hopkin clearly doesn't trust the players he has and why would he? Hopefully this is akin to Parky's first year when he signed the likes of Rob Kozluk, Marcel Seip who were nothing special but knew what it would take to get the job done.

You're obsessed with him let it go, it is more or less universally accepted from our fanbase that Wright is at fault and our worst player. I've never seen a player actually get the stick he does in such a short time since joining on social media, which tells you all you need to know.

 

It wasn't O'Connor at fault at all. Devine is out of position because we were attacking, Wright jogged back with the player, he passed the player on when it went wide and didn't then track his man into the box BUT NKP does nothing to stop the attack around the 18 yard box, doesn't come out and then turns his back. It's a collective issue that was started by Wright.

Exactly it's a team game, it's more or less pointless singling players out when we are so bad. I think Wright gets singled out more on lack of effort than ability, his contribution typifies this team and that's why we are where we are.

 

he was running on to the ball, all he needed was a decent connection and he scuffed what should have been a simple clearance whether out for a corner or a throw-in. it had nothing to do with how long he's been out for or lack of fitness but just poor technique and a lack of concentration and ultimately cost us a goal. if we're going to call people out for making simple mistakes then it has to be the same for everyone, not just those we dislike.

i'm a fan of danny devine and actually feel he was given a raw deal under mccall after he started the season well, but he cost us a goal on tuesday - can't hide behind it, it was his mistake.

 

pep always has one who is the master of the dark arts.. he's had busquets, javi martinez and now fernandinho.

 

If I were going to single anyone out, which would be pointless, it would Doyle.

But as I say, pointless. He's not the reason we're last, merely a small part of it.

By default, the fact no signing can play with Doyle and have any effect is a heavy criticism of a number of signings.

Maybe not the back line, but the lack of quality there is undeniable.

 

The fact that he said our midfield is good enough, says it all.

Fordy has always been blinkered. The guy is clueless if he thinks ALL our problems are because of O’Connor and cannot see that our midfield have just not protected our back like one iota

 

Depends on what you mean by “he has done all his career”. Other than 2 seasons (actually 1 and a half), his other seasons have been very average. He usually gets just 10-12 goals a season and less when in the Championship.

 

Thanks for clarifying. There is so much I disagree with, but that is a debate for another day. I’ll just rest with the appreciation that you clarified yourself. Cheers
