Oldham for me too. Ed-in-i-ho-ho-ho. Wooden seats. Car horns after. Boom.

Haven’t had the pleasure of visiting Hartlepool, Barrow or Harrogate yet though!

The coldest game I've ever been to was a home game at valley parade about 5/6 years ago.I think we won 3 - 0 and it's the first time i left the kop with thousands more with the blizzard cold winds to much for many.I remember parents with kids going before half time and i watched rest of the match from the tv at back of the kop ;) I looked to see how many people were left on the lower kop and hardly nobody was left accept I saw Charlie there wearing his city home shirt keeping him warm :brig:

    Agree
If it's the same game I am thinking of all roads out of Plymouth were blocked by snow
Remember kipping down in the local army barracks for the night
Great Night but coldest I have ever been at a match
    Never been back since

    This.
Boundary Park before they developed it was unbelievable.
In my first term at Bradford Uni (before I discovered City) I went to watch Oldham v West Ham in a midweek night match. Being fresh up from the south I'd never experienced anything like it. Stood on that old uncovered away end being battered by arctic winds that took your breath away. Coldest I've ever been at a match, by a country mile.

A few to go at including Grimsby in about 1969 when we won 5-1, Oldham at any time, as many have mentioned the home game with Walsall a few years with freezing rain.
Arsenal in the league Cup was bad, made palatable by winning.
The actual coldest for me was the Don Valley against Rovrum.
The wettest, Brighton at the Withdean, no cover and constant rain throughout the match.
Couldn't have been wetter if I'd fallen in the canal.

Hartlepool, home in the Leyland Daf trophy, early 90s. A sparse crowd and the cold wind was horrific on that standing kop. Standing against them barriers was near impossible. Agree Walsall wS bad but this just Hartlepool game beats it for me

I sit right at the back of the Midland Road. The wind and rain combined to swirl around and soak me from behind! If I remember rightly the half time music was Gimme Shelter by the Rolling Stones. Never was a tune more appropriate.

I remember one away trip to Scunthorpe that was freezing. November 2015, we won, I would have been very miserable if we had lost.

Seaham Redstar away in the fa vase with Guiseley

Also Farsley v Guiseley about 23 years ago..... had gloves, thick jumper, hat, winter jacket etc' gave up 10 minutes into the second half when the strong - 4 winds kicked in with the snow. Lucky it was only a five minutes walk home at the time, central heating felt sooooooo could once inside

It’s the uncovered away ends that get me. Treated like second class citizens! Swindon Town and Plymouth. Both uncovered and open to the elements, and always raining.

Plenty for me Fordy. Grimsby with the wind off the North Sea and driving snow, night match and a thrashing. Oldham, who wouldn't vote for that. Telford in the Cup, frozen earth to stand on, open terrace and a defeat. As you get old like me, you feel it quicker and on that score Barrow during Covid, no crowd and howling wind off the Irish Sea, miserable, just about thawed out by Skipton.
