Between September & March

 

My first experience of Boundary Park was December 86, plastic pitch and freezing cold uncovered away end.....

 

Only been a couple of times, but I can't remember being colder at footie

 

I'll see your Boundary Park and raise you Odsal.

 

I was there. It was a tad on the chilly side.

 

Apart from the bitter cold, I seem to recollect City fans throwing coins at the scoreboard at the back of the away end.... Though it could have been in August the following season??

 

Would still have been cold

 

Oldham followed closely by Odsal, followed by Cleethorpe’s Town.

Arbroath, got to be the coldest place on earth, only been once, one end is almost in the north sea

 

Remember being at the Don Valley Stadium Sheffield to watch City play Rotherham.
Ranks has one of the coldest experiences I've ever had sat out in the open with no shelter at all,in what I can only describe as sub zero temperature's.
Amusingly some Bradford fans ran around the running track followed by stewards.

 

This - generally Boundary Park or Hartlepool in the pre roof days but Don Valley that day is the coldest I’ve ever been at football.
Different climate

 

Wasn't particularly warm at VP when we played Arsenal in the cup. Toss up between that night and Oldham for me.

 

Been many times to Oldham and Odsal when it was very cold and wet. However, I think the coldest and most uncomfortable I've felt was actually at Valley Parade about 3 years ago against Walsall. Somehow the freezing rain managed to soak me at the back of the lower kop and I spent the entire 2nd half stood up

 

My god that was cold , i think my trouser's had frozen, was in the lower kop also, jumping up and down trying to keep warm. Good job we won 4-0

Yes Hartlepool, can remember going there one boxing day. Terrace facing the sea, bought a pie still had ice in the middle of it.
