Chapman making the wrong calls. Did that a lot before his upturn in form last season.

 

He seems to be a player who gets easily frustrated with himself and it shows. He's still the best option aside from Pointon, Walker and Pattison

 

As long as Chapman makes one right second half I have Cook and Chapman for a 2 - 0 win .

 

Chapman needs to get his head up. A couple of times he could have played someone in. This is reminiscent of last season.

 

I was thinking the same thing. I’m glad he’s back in the side, we’re generally better to watch when he is, but he’s such a frustrating player. Finds a space really well, usually well involved in the game and clearly has decent technical ability. But his choice and execution of the final ball is so often poor. TBF, if it were better, he’d be playing much higher up.

 

I don’t think he’s having a shocker, he’s just choosing the wrong option.

 

He seems to think he’s got a minute to decide what to do with the ball.

 

He's been out for so long though. Think we have to give him a couple of games to see if he can get back into the swing of things. In the broader scheme of things it's important because we need to decide if he should get another contract next season.

Can have a tendency to play with blinkers on. Pointon is the one of the two that seems more awake.

 

Agreed. He's been out a while and seems to be a player that needs a run to play himself into form.

 

They are poor , offering nothing up front . I said to lad, we get one , we get more . Bobby decent again . Chappy not as confident as Tues .

 

I hope Tompkinson keeps switched on in the second half. The lad he’s up against, Fevrier, seems to have a few tricks in him. Can see Tommo diving in and giving the lad a free run on goal.

 

13 shots to their 1 in first half. 16 crosses to their 4 - happy with that.

Agree we are taking wrong option at times. Ridehalgh’s deliveries have frustrated. Overall a decent effort though.

 

He created a cross earlier that was very similar to Crawley’s first goal last week.
Just didn’t have the quality to finish it.

 

That lot brought less than 300 to VP earlier in the season!

 

Don't think it's fair to attack other teams' support when you get 4,000 at home and it's a 'bumper' crowd for your new manager.
