I can't imagine anything can/will be done, but I'd just like to point out to all concerned that £4.50 for a bottle of Carlsberg is absolutely robbery and I won't be having a drink in the ground at all this coming season. I'd probably normally have 2 each home game, as would my friends. it's not an insignificant loss of income.

When we went down to the meeting last Wednesday I bought a pint of Tetley's and a coke by the time she gave me my change the beer had no head on it and I said that's a bit lifeless and the manager (I assume as was organising things) said it's because it's in a plastic container, I wasn't going into the stadium with my drink why are they served in plastic containers.

Is it a 330ml, 440 ml or 500ml? An imperial pint poured draft is actually 568ml! So the £4.50 if it is a small bottle, is probably nearer £8.00 a pint.

So nearly a £5 for an actual pint.

Given the very constructive attitude of the club in respect of ‘affordable’ football, as evidenced by the £150 ST, then this ‘rip off’, seems marked.

Especially when we haven those who complain about the cost of football, then the pricing of the ‘beer’ is clearly the absolute opposite.

Frankly I would never buy one.

If you pay an expensive price and then moan about it, you're an idiot. No exceptions.

If you feel you're being exploited, don't spend. Really effing simple.

Yep, got stung in the record cafe for that. Order a drink, paid around £4.60 and got barely half a pint.

Can we invest some of this Mcburnie money in AstroTurf at side of the pitch like most clubs do. Looks shite when it’s bare especially in front of North west corner stand.

    Or is it just me?

I think you answered your own point on the McBurnie thread. I looked at this about three years ago and we did use some of the flood damaged stuff from Woodhouse Grove for the linesman's areas but overall costs are beyond us for now.

    Kop Update from today:
You can't hear a bloody thing from the PA in the kop.
Toilets acceptable but no hot water and driers useless.
    Seats and walkways very clean.
Side issue. How can people sit with their dirty feet on the seat in front of them if it is unoccupied. If I'd have done that or anything similar when I was young I'd have been walloped from pillar to post. It was a golden rule that you never put your feet on anything someone had to sit on.
Food and drink: no idea as I never touch either insiide the ground but I have to say that those selling them were Chavimus Maximus.
Smoking area. Didn't get to see it so don't know if it's still being tolerated.
    Pre-match. Ok.
