There's nothing 'apologist' about recognising that six league games after his first transfer window in charge is a very inadequate sample size of games - particularly when our dodgy start is 2-2-2.

 

Not an excuse but the other relegated sides haven’t fared much better. Sometimes takes time to turn around a tanker

 

Especially with the contracts Rahic dished out left, right and centre.

No matter what Bowyer says, there's no way he wants many of the players from last season.

Anthony O'Connor (the most unpopular player in some time), Kelvin Mellor and Richard O'Donnell are the only players to show they're actually worth a spot in the squad.

 

It's actually 6 league games and 2 cup games. I'd say 8 games is quite a good indicator actually, especially considering the formation/player roulette we've has the misfortune of witnessing

 

You believe a tie against a team two divisions above us doing quite well and a reserve team fixture against Bolton are good indicators?

I'm not one to question someone's actual opinion, mate, but I kind of doubt you really believe that.
