Someone will undoubtedly put you right on this - we drew on Tuesday and got a bonus point for the bit of fun at the end.

 

So, A O'C Benched, defence did ok (looking at stats, not too many opportunities given to Cobblers), A O'C been good this season, maybe time to square peg him as DM for a quick look. A 3 - 0 lead with 30 mins to go would have been a great chance to try it out, but I can see it happening.

Pritchard did well. The other lad had moments and was quick, but raw.

Central midfield was a shambles.

 

I know I keep harping on about this but I honestly think he is our best option out of what we've got. Of course it would have been preferable to bring in a dedicated player for that position before the window closed but we didn't, so it comes down to a choice between Devine, Akpan, Anderson or AOC, and I'd take AOC every time.

 

Yep, had the name Kennelly on his shirt or something, I'm presuming his favourite player is Connolly and he can't spell.

 

Issue is our major missing piece in our team is the type of player that both Devine and Akpan should be, but both are simply not good enough or not performing to their potential.

Either way, if there’s a free agent out there with experience, that we can afford, they would be a vital missing piece.

 

The other thing is A O'C would bring an element of "shithousery" to it as well. Need some nasty in there.

 

Maybe he likes Kelvin as well and couldn't chose between them so did a bit of a mash up.

 

But of handbags at the end there between Bowyer & that Goode!

 

Shame but not unexpected. Imo neither player should have even been carded. A contact sport played at high adrenaline and the ref starts dishing out cards for a bit of argy-bargy meanwhile letting them waste time all day and kill the game as a spectacle for the paying public, games gone.

Also I’ve just heard Vaughan has been sentenced to a 10 stretch in Armley for his role in the incident.

Devine, Akpan, Anderson. Individually they each make a case for being amongst the worst midfielders ever to play for the club. And all 3 are hereat the same time together.
