Yes there may be fans not happy with the present football on show and that is understandable to a point, if it gets us out of this league it's something most will accept but still moan about it

 

Yep, the key is getting out of this league.

Even if we were to try and play expansive, attacking, wing-based, exciting football, we all know what the opposition are going to try to do - waste time, park the bus, and hit us on the counter.

Bowyer's football is pragmatic. Don't let crap teams hit you on the break, stay patient, beat them by a goal.

It's not pretty, but I'm waiting until we're back in League One where half the teams DON'T play like that before demanding style points.

 

In comparison with the crap we watched last season and lack of points obtained, this season could turn out to be success especially if promotion is gained.
When the thread regarding what this seasons ticket uptake would be many thought it would be down massively on passed numbers but once again Bradford City fans have renewed in healthy numbers.
As Julian's points out they have made the offer so anyone who wants to purchase one or more as a Christmas present can do just that.
Along with the offer being made very early compared with past seasons offers, fans can even base their decision on which league were playing in next season.
I don't think the club could have done any more with regards the fans.

 

Of course the uptake will be based on this seasons suscess or not, I very much doubt Bowyer will be getting a nudge from anyone, yes the football on show is not the best but as long as its a means to an end I think most will accept it, and hope our injuries returning wil help the team play more attacking football.

Unless Bowyer stops being negative and plays better football then if we don't go up then we would be lucky to get 10-12k.

It's not just that, I can't recognise any of our players down in the lower tier, not just because of my eyesight rather than none of them seem to play regularly enough to get to know them...

 

What are they doing in the lower tier? No wonder we can't find that attacking threat if they're sat down in the stand!!
