Each of those players can probably do a job individually in a team of more experienced players. But thrown in together at once, not so much.

Paudie's goal apart, we look a completely different prospect with the second half lineup.

 

Why it proves nothing, strength in depth is the ability to make a change or two to the main team and still be as strong. I’m sure most of them individually will do that but if it’s an entire second string team it’s a different story. All the first half proved is we’ll do crap in the pizza trophy.

Come on be realistic. Any team will suffer defeat and in the league we will lose games. Realistically, double digit games.

A defeat in a friendly makes little concern but identifying strengths and weakness from it do matter. I'd rather DA can make assessment and IF necessary, makes decisions on the squad before the transfer window closes.
