Genuinely enjoyed that game. Thought we played really well. Akpan, NKP and Ball all played really well. And we didn’t lose.

And we didn’t win. Everyone in the team gave their all, and we drew. Against Burton.

Unfortunately this is now our level. We have to play great to get a draw. If we don’t get any new personnel in, we will get relegated. Can’t beat the drop by drawing every match from now on.

They are not pointless, you get 1, and that one point might be the difference between staying up and going down. Plus it is not a defeat which eats away at our Teams fragile confidence.

I don’t know why ppl assume we will draw every game now we have picked up a draw, they are as rare as hen’s teeth this season. Of course we need new players in, but I am still not sure that we will be relegated with or without new additions.

Plus don't underestimate the psychological boost of finally getting something from a game we were losing.

Ok, not winning puts pressure on the next game.

Say we draw on Tuesday that's 2 points from 6 or we lose that's 1 point from 6.

We need wins. Games are running out and draws are not good enough for a club in our situation.

Of course we need wins, every man and his dog knows that, but there is no need to panic because we didn’t win yesterday. Keep calm this is going to the wire.

Tuesday is another huge game. Beat Shrewsbury and we drag them into the relegation fight, we lose and they go 6 clear of us with a game in hand. Draws are no go at this stage, we need three pointers.

Need to get out of this situation ASAP.

Single points just put more pressure on the next game.

We already need on average more than a point a game to get out of this mess.

Tuesday is a huge night full stop. If we win and other results go our way, we could be in 20th on the same points as 19th and 18th and only 3 points off 17th (although some teams around us would have a game in hand).

Yes Fordy, but the part you are ignoring is that if we get a point at a place like Burton and follow it up with 3 at home, then that is a good return. If we don’t win on Tuesday or get beaten, the point at Burton isn’t the reason our return is poor. We should be targeting these types of home games, not crying that we couldn’t beat a decent team at their ground....!

But does he agree with you? He’s right that Tuesday is a huge game, but I don’t recall him crying that we only managed 1pt at Burton. As he said, we do need to be picking up wins, but I’d expect he’s meaning home games and away games at teams in and around us.

Huddersfield are almost already relegated. But if they went to somewhere like Arsenal and got a point, do you think they’d be whinging like a baby? Any point away from home is a good point IF you can win the majority of your home games

It’s picking points up where you can. Obviously the aim is to win every game but if not don’t lose. At reckoning time that point might have been vital

We all get it @Fordy117@Fordy117, implementing it is another thing, I think Hopkin and the team know exactly how important this and our next few games are.
I was very confident before the Southend game, but I have to say I'm far from confident Hopkin can keep us up.
Much will depend on who we can bring in this week, sorry to say my optimism is waning.
Shrewsbury, Fleetwood, and Plymouth are must win games, and hopefully pick points up at Wycombe, Walsall and Oxford.

Single points alone won't keep us up, but what yesterday's result did do was stop the rot.

The performances against Barnsley and Southend were poor, as were the results. Quite rightly, fans were beginning to question the attitude of the players again. Yesterday's point, gained from a losing position, shows they do still have a desire and that they are playing for Hopkin.

Tuesday's home game is a perfect opportunity to build on it and then kick on in the next month when, Wycombe away aside, we have a set of fixtures which look winnable and where we need to be looking to pick up three or four wins.

Agree totally Petrov, was vital we got something yesterday for the reason you say but also for setting the tone in this very important week - when confidence is fragile this will have a positive impact at the club, which might just have an influence and be the key factor when trying to finalise the ongoing deals across the line
