    man of the match for me today (never thought I would write that!!!) the difference his contribution made to the side today was clear for all to see. We finally won some headers and held the ball up the pitch and that gave the opportunity to feed off something to create chances whilst also taking pressure off the rest of the team as the ball wasn’t just continually coming back at them. Not sure what happened in training this week or where he has been hiding that performance but genuinely resembled a target man today. Well done Kai.........

    Don’t disagree but you clearly haven’t watched all season if you didn’t see the difference to the team the headers he did win and the hold up play made.

    Clearly he isn’t anywhere near Hanson in terms of ability and up to today I would have agreed with you. I am not saying it was an outstanding individual performance but the difference his performance made to the side today was easy to see.

    It all about the physical battle no target man wins every header sometimes the fact the they challenge for the ball can make the defender make a mistake, which most could see today it was good to see we had an outlet.
    Robinson was doing his nut gesturing with the 4th official when Kai went and hugged each and every City player on his way across the pitch not forgetting to shake the referees hand and take his tie ups off before he left the pitch, classic gold Kai.

    Not MOM for me, but tbh that is the best I have seen him play. He has a long way to go, so whoever is putting in the hard yards to try and develop him, needs a well earned pat on the back.

    His team mates certainly appreciated his effort today, says a lot.. Not seen many applauded off like that before (unless they were applauding hopkin). If he could channel some of his aggression and needless charging about, he could be something to work but he gives his all which isnt something you could say about certain others this season. Fair play to him, and i still live in hope he will at some point smash in a winner at the kop end.

    Agree it was his best game but not a motm display, Caddis and LOB wer fantastic today and were our best players. Have to admire Bruenkers passion and energy though, dont think ive wanted a player to succeed as much as him. Lovely lad just limited.

    He is not our level but he battled all game with those two Center backs and unlike previous weeks, where they would have faced a lonely Doyle, they will have known they were in a game today at full time.

    Gives away a lot of fouls and is never in a position to score but if we are gonna play this way he has a part to play until Hopkin can sign someone better.

    Fair play to him today. Earned his place for Luton Tuesday

    I agree Caddis and O’Brien had good games as I have said the reason I would have gone for Kai is the difference his performance made to the whole team.
