Like I said,the importance of the game was more enjoyable than the game it self and with our away form i mistakenly thought a one nil lead was enough.I didn't expect a no show from us and a manager who makes a substitution that will live long in the memory.

Im not convinced. Grayson was absolute shite at Blackpool and Fleetwood after us. He was well and truly on the management scrap heap. Not forgetting his abysmal spell at Sunderland prior to us.

 

Definitely missing next 2 home games & not sorry been bored of the drab football against Grimsby & Harrogate

his last appearance was the 10th April, he's been out ever since. He did have a minor injury in March which he missed 5 games also.

 

Agree but Hughes should know that by now and find a solution to how we break teams down who come and park the bus, Stuarts first season back he continued with the great home form Parky had started winning 7 of our last home games season 2015/16 going the whole season not getting beat at Valley Parade, at times we don't look as if we can hold onto a 2 goal lead at home, they have been very rare with regards our present incumbent.

 

Last Saturdays game looked to me as if Hughes has not been as pragmatic with regards playing out from the back we mixed it up pretty well over all.

Walsall manager has had to look at free agent defenders for the weekend and hasn't made a decision yet. With their suspensions and now some injuries, the back line is in bits. Brought in 2 lads on trial but neither are signed as of yet.

Cook giving out the physical stuff, Odour and Tulloch out wide with pace, should be enough to cause a make shift defence all sorts of trouble...... (clean sheet incoming).

 

Based on availability your starting XI looks spot on, especially given we’re at home. If this were the XI I wonder how Macdonald fairs without Gillead alongside him covering the yards, but let’s hope the approach to the game is different so Pattison can cover that role and more from an attacking prospective.
