You can write that about any football match that isn't Man City.

    Allow yourself some positivity

Thought Gilliead, Smallwood, Pointon and Stubbs had excellent games

Hughes should be ashamed of how he's been coaching that team.

Best thing about today was the amount of fouls we gave away.
Don't let anyone past you, no matter what.

Not coaching, that's been Hodges and Trueman.
Setting up and instructing is Hughes.

Times 5 today, Cookie has had plenty of chances to score
Must be saving them for another day but he has been a handful against them

Yeah, Smallwood was excellent today and I thought Gillead, bar a couple of times he was caught dreaming, was also very good alongside him.

Well what a breath of fresh air that was no negative dawdling on the ball and endless sideways and backwards passing, we looked organised in defence, pressed at the right times and were dangerous going forwards. They didn't really have an answer for us at points today we absolutely dominated them and looked levels above.

Bobby will rightly take all the plaudits that was an incredibly hard working performance and he throughly deserved the goal so happy for him! Smallwood put in a captains performance, Holiday was awesome, I thought Stubbs really put one in today he will be shattered after that, Cookie was so unlucky not to score and Harry Lewis what a save when he was called on.

What was most pleasing to see was them playing as a team and working their knackers off for each other.

How much better was that, high press and get the ball forward. Good game , Swindon a good team, chances for both teams and entertainment. Everything people asked for. Enjoy your Saturday night folks.

Sorry I've got to disagree, we created enough chances to score 4 or 5 goals. You don't get that with a 'scrappy' performance. I ain't saying we are suddently promotion world beaters for once in a long time we were very very good and fully deserved three points off the back of a very impressive performance. If we revert back to Hughes ball next week I'll call it as I see it.

I think I would have walked away annoyed if we'd won based on a little bit more effort - but it's obvious McDonald made changes today, and I thought Swindon struggled for long periods.

They showed some ability, and Charlie Austin missed two sitter, but so what?

We didn't play it short once, and Cook won most of his headers. Lewis did better, but there was far less pressure on the back line.

In some ways, the Swindon performance was typical of how we'd done lately - miss the early chance, and just sort of fade out for long periods. They struggled in possession due to a high press.

Kevin got it right today. We rode our luck, but I'm just glad we showed purpose and not just effort.

Oyegoke looked a totally different player today. Very impressed with his positive runs and control of the ball throughout
