It was a poor showing by the kid no one will know that better than him, I know we can put forward reasons for his poor performance but as @Old Grey Fox@Old Grey Fox posted Challonor was his manager at Hartlepool and he would be well aware of Odusina strong points and of course his weak points.
I'll not criticise Sparkies team selection if Critchlow was not fit enough to start has Songo'o been so poor he wasn't in the reckoning to partner Platt, under Sparkie he'd played along side Pauldie many times and I can't remember him getting bullied or given the run around like Odusina did today.
Even though we got nothing from the game let's hope Sparkie has learnt something from his players display today.

Songo’o was decent in the second half. Doesn’t come ahead of Platt and don’t see us playing two rights sided CBs in a back 4, but missed a bit of fight and desire in the past few weeks.

We’ve just got to find another string to our bow and know how to dominate games at home. The current formation and tactic of playing out from the back im not against, but needs to come with the caveat of been able to quickly mix that up when teams come and do what Stockport did today. They won’t be the last.

As I wrote earlier, think we actually needed that defeat today. I still believe we have one of the strongest squads in the league, time now to put that to the test. Like to see some variation, especially in the front players.

It is based on hard work at this level. Yes skilful players are also required but there is no substitute for hard work.
We didn’t work hard enough, we seemed void of ideas. We didn’t press them in effectively. We were slow and I can’t remember us getting to the second and loose ball first all match.

Plus tactically we seem to play the same way every game, so easy to plan against us. One of things that gets me is we invite pressure. Every corner we had nobody left out to pick up the ball. They do this every match, leaving a pace player out there we miss out on an opportunity to kill them on the break and it invites pressure.
Overall, a poor performance and we need to up our game, and we need to adapt to the match conditions.

I've championed Hendrie in the passed but agreed that Halliday had improved his game from the start of the season, it would have been interesting if Luke would have kept his place if not for his injury.

I also thought he was really poor today but he wasn’t helped by Lewis giving him some awful passes right on the touch line.
Stockport jumped on this and he really struggled.

Well, that was dreadful but not completely unexpected given our recent performances, where we've been more than lucky to get the points we have. What strikes me more than anything though is our complete lack of mobility upfront. Cook will score if you create chances for him but if that doesn't happen he can't create anything for himself. Oliver is very similar. I would have subbed Cook for Harratt today, but having said that we had so many players off their game it probably wouldn't have made any difference. For what it's worth I thought only Songo'o and Lewis were worthy of any praise today and even then some of the latter's distribution was a bit iffy. Everyone else was either poor or terrible. Lots to ponder.

Theoretically would you agree to fielding 10 players for every league game in return for starting the game at 1-0?

In my opinion that is the equivalent of what we have with Cook.

Yep, after getting one monkey off our back last week by finally winning a game against Harrogate, it was too much to ask to get rid of another today and we continue to be that team that kindly halts another teams poor run.

we’ve been getting away with it for a while now and if we don’t wake up or change something then expect a fair few results like this :( we have a team that is capable of doing more but sadly this possession football ain’t helping us at all .............. soon as Oliver came in it should have been non stop balls into the box but this slow build up wasn’t working at all today ............ teams are high pressing us because they know within 10 passes we will either give it away or pass it into touch .............Hughes needs to realise that this sort of play was fine at his previous clubs with far better players ........... this lot ain’t near that standard

It’s the hope that kills you yet we endure it year after year.
Historically, Bradford City are not a club that gets promoted very often but we still hope.

Yet the alternative is Hendrie. We’re doomed.

Valley Parade should be the springboard with regards our promotion push but not on what we've seen so far this season at home, we've looked better away when teams have to come out, not that that's a refection on Stockport today I thought they worked us out from the first minute not allowing us to play out from the back, you have to ask why weren't we capable to change it, that's the disappointing thing to me.

What do you expect with invisable man Perehira infront of him and Hughes tactics in the second half where he left him the only man down the right side.
