We cannot play the long game when Cook is up front on his own so we are somewhat restricted in how we play when we have one up top.
Once Oliver came on it was a different game. We had them pushed back and they put 5 at the back. 7 at times while we tried to find a way through.
Cannot wait for Walker to be back.

Going long aimlessly created naff all against Stockport.
The risky balls are supposed to create the space as it draws opposition in leaving gaps.
Let opposition sit its far harder to break down.
It is one defeat in 8 league games.
Lets see after the next 8 how we react.
Jesus christ, its like we lose one and everyone wants Adams or Bowyer back ffs.QCFC BANTAM, Kevin1954, Idlebantam and 1 other person like this. -

A bloke said behind me that Halliday is the worst right back we’ve ever had. I know he had a shocker Saturday (although no worse than a few others) but worst we only had Threlkeld last season(he said the same then). People often remember what’s in front of them and little else when emotions are involved.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... "The highest average league attendance in the Fourth Division was 19,092, achieved by Crystal Palace in the 1960/61 season. The highest attendance at an individual match was recorded the same season: 37,774 for the Good Friday game at Selhurst Park between Crystal Palace and Millwall.[2] The highest attendance in a fourth-tier playoff final is 61,589 Bristol Rovers Vs Shrewsbury Town in 2009."Botswana Bantam, FrenchBantam and Bigrod like this. -

Can not believe people would have Rhodes as CEO , rather than Ryan Sparks.
Was he not one of the guys in charge during 2 administrations. The second one against the wishes of his fellow director Gordon Gibb , which caused the famous speech on the pitch when Julian was on holiday. ( i am not the one taking money out of the club, maybe not, but the pension fund is LOL)
Ryan has his faults , but he has got more right than wrong . -
Odusina is shocking he has to hook him at half time.

Everyone has been poor. Maybe Platt and Foulds are exempt. Wright not getting any service. Chapman same. Halliday worst game of the season. Cook getting nothing. Really the first time I’ve seen us without a game plan under Hughes.
-
What’s disappointing is that we’ve been poor and haven’t had an answer to better Stockport today so far.
As we’ve seen rode our luck in the past few weeks you’d argue this was always comingStop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...Bronco, Rogered Tart and donhutchinsaffro like this. -

My thoughts on the game
Lewis - 7 - Would of been a 6 if it wasn’t for that fantastic save near the end. Needs to hurry up a bit. Slows the game down too much
Halliday - 4 - Shite. Arguing with Lewis to pass him the ball when all Halliday does is go forward 4 steps, turns an squares it to Platt or passes it back to Lewis. Like if your gonna ask for the ball, at least fecking do something with it. Then again, He didn’t have a winger in front of him. Poor tactical change from Hughes there
Platt - 5 - Did okay.
Odusina - 2 - Got pocketed by the Stockport front line. Poor in the air. Poor positioning. Shit passing. He lost the ball 3 times in the first 5 mins of the game. Got turned inside out for the pen
Foulds - 7 - My personal MOTM. Did well. The players around him let him down
Smallwood - 5 - Not poor. Not brilliant either
Gilliead - 3 - His worse game this season. Made no influence on the first half. Kept running into blind allies in the second. If your playing as part of a midfield 2, you can’t hide. Didn’t want the ball half the time. No movement off it
Periera - 2 - Never got into the game
Chapman - 2 - All over the place. Put him back on the wing for feck sake. He isn’t a 10 an he never will be
Wright - 5 - Good set pieces. Didn’t get much time on the ball. He got marked out of the game in the second half because he was the only bradford winger on the pitch
Cook - 5 - He did feck all but I don’t blame him because he didn’t have any service
The Subs
Oliver - 5 - Won some flick ons but everyone was asleep to the second ball. Got no service
Songo - 5 - Made to look like Maldini based on Odusina’s performance. Dont know what the feck he was doing at the end though
Angol - 4 - Made no difference

Challinor knew how we played out from the back and stopped us doing that from the first minute, no axe to grind with Stockport they had a game plan stuck to it and took 3 relatively easy points from Fortress Valley Parade. -
Well that was not good I can take not playing well but to be out fought all over the pitch is not acceptable. They pressed and sprinted to everything where we were ponderous and jogged around I didn't see Gillead sprint in the entire match. The first 45 was the worst I've seen in a while if I'd been Hughes at half time I'd have been very angry.
