    Championship and League 1 matches will be moved from Saturday at 3pm for sure as Sky Sports will want to show them. I don't see any matches on the last day which should cause the police any issues especially in London so don't see a reason to move them on police grounds so it's down to if Sky want to show any league 2 matches and if they do it'll be moved for them.
    Any movement can only be kick off time or to the Sunday as there's no time to postpone them a week due to the play offs.

    As far as I am aware the very last fixture in all four tiers of English Football, start at exactly the same time.

    So currently all League two matches are scheduled to start at 3.00 pm on Saturday 6th May. It is not down to Sky, who will show a comprehensive coverage of results.

    My recollection is that Sky sometimes have shown clips of games, which have a bearing on who wins promotion etc.

    This season all EFL fixtures are scheduled for the same day.

    In the past, over the early May Bank Holiday weekend, different divisions have finished their fixtures on different days.

    It may well be that the EFL will move the Final Day to Sunday 7th or indeed the Monday Bank holiday on the 8th.

    Historic for who though? Why is the country all lumped in as one single entity? I couldn't give a schitt about it to be fair.

    I'm no monarchy hater and I'm happy for those who genuinely love it but it's really not for me. I'd rather watch the footy but if that's not possible I'll still be doing something else rather than watch something I have absolutely no interest in.

    In each division they will kick off at the same time but if Sky want to show 1 or 2 games from that league they'll all move, same applies to if they want to show in game clips as they can't show them for Saturday 3pm games due to the blackout.
    Last season the Championship finished a week last but they kicked off at 12:30 on Saturday with League 2 staying 3pm Saturday the week before and League 1 was 12:30 on Saturday. However, in 2018/19 league 2 kicked off at 12:30pm on Saturday with league 1 at 5:30pm on Saturday with Championship on Sunday at 3pm

    I thing you are missing the point Idle? It’s “historic” only in the sense if one chooses to believe it is. That’s what I’m saying, others have different opinions, to which I’m fine. That is their choice and right.

    It’s a generational thing. A lot of those who were into ‘Never Mind The Bollocks, here come the Sex Pistols’ & ‘God Save the Queen’, back in the day, have swapped it for a more relaxed ‘Chris De Burgh’ melancholy.
    Out with the NMA and in with the ……er……The Korgis. ;)

    Shows how hard it is to classify people, John Lydon is one of our biggest royalists now I might be a massive monarchist but I still listen to The Jam, The Clash and the Sex Pistols along with a bit of more sedate stuff like Paul Heaton.

    Liking left wing musicians doesn't always mean your political stance is left wing.

    You don't have to agree with Billy Braggs near communism to appreciate his music.

    So after all the 3c temps and generally chilly weather over there, tomorrow we have a weather alert forecasting a wind chill in middle Tennessee of as low as -27 c, I think actual Friday low is going to be single 7f (-14c) with a high of -10c . Almost as chilly as Queensbury. Oh, the titans are due to play on Saturday but road and pavement conditions aren’t expected to be a problem.

    PS these temps might seem almost tropical to our Toronto based statto. :sun:

    Nah. He ain’t a Monarchist or a Royalist. Just thinks they should be in the queue at the bar and be one of the crowd. In fact he thinks the Monarchy Gig is there to criticise.
