No chance of game being off, or any other. Rain soon dries out at this time of year.

I’m still drying out from Crewe’s sprinklers. Why they need to water the first few rows behind the goal is beyond me?!?!

If they are able to sell tickets in Block A in the main stand for this game, why is it not available for the rest of the season?

Have you sat in A Block? The only uncovered part of the stadium. Even Brass monkeys lose their appendages in there from December to March, and you get absolutely soaked even if it is ‘moderate’ rain.

my understanding is they have just moved all of them into A block.

sounds like the club not thinking how popular £3 tickets would be. In the past these schemes have been suspended for big matches

I think Dave , the new stand bit in the story was block A in the main stand, the remaining seats in that block went on general sale shortly after.

No that is what I read. I think these tickets were bought ages ago, the club not expecting this game to be sell out.

That’s pretty much what I thought.
I just wondered if it was a safety issue or just that they chose not to sell them.

I've had another look through the records and it seems that should mean it will be the highest league attendance at Valley Parade since the 0-0 draw against Oldham Athletic on 29 April 1953 when the attendance was 23,580. It was the last match of that season and Oldham won the league that season.

If they had been sold ages ago they would have had the tickets already, and therefore not able to be sold again.
Before the game was important there is no way a single school Would have sold 180 tickets. Would be interesting to know how many they usually sell and how many this time.

You would think that wouldn’t you? They were bought and paid for and they had received their receipts so in theory they should have been blocked off.

to be honest sounds like a storm in a tea cup. Club decided something but didn’t inform everyone, as soon as mistake was realised it was sorted. No body lost out, an honest mistake was made and corrected.
T&A must be desperate for stuff to fill their pages
