On a serious point, we certainly do need something to restore the confidence in the squad. Recent results, and more importantly recent performances, suggest to me that the squad's confidence is very fragile.

It's a classical tale of the chicken and the egg. A win and a good performance against a good team should improve the level of confidence within the squad in readiness for the next games. But lacking confidence as we've demonstrated so clearly in recent games isn't a great platform for today's game. Building that confidence and avoiding it waning away towards the end of the game can be helped by a big crowd getting behind the team. But having the right level of confidence going into the game is about the squad being properly prepared beforehand .. and the responsibility for that rests with Hughes.

You can see why their Champions all movement for the player with the ball.

Don't honestly think it makes a huge difference playing home leg first or second. We're there that's all that counts

They didn't need to at times we were chasing shadows, but we got what we needed even though at times my heart was in my mouth had Critchlow's chance gone it it might have been different, Beckles and Cooks battle was good to watch I believe Beckles shaded it but should he have walked for that high challenge for me a yellow but the referee knew the consequence if he gave him another yellow I think he backed off rather than sending him off, happy we've done the job.

Would you rather see us play an open and expansive game and see us lose 3-2? It's now all about getting out of this league, however we do it and MH has to set us up to give us the best chance of doing that with the players he has available

A match if this importance to the season and all we are concerned is the attendance. This is a match we can not lose because we must assume Mansfield will win. Lose it and in my opinion the season has been one big failure.
Whilst it is a must not lose it’s also must not sit back and hope match or a ping pong around in our own area match. Go for it in a disciplined way with a high press and let’s get the goals we need to take the pressure of and try and get a home tie last in the+play offs

Well for me the big plus is that we've been in the mix all season. Of course I wanted more and was looking and hoping for top 3. We've not been far off and yes we will need player upgrades regardless of what league we are in, but nothing like the full squad overhauls of recent years

Whether we go up or not, there has clearly been an improvement. 15th and 14th I believe we finished last couple of seasons

I am certainly not calling for a change of manager just a change to more positive tactics and attitude. Many have complained about clubs coming to VP using dark arts to win. We have wasted much more time than any opponent messing about with the ball in our own half

The Club have mentioned, on a number of occasions over the years, that the 25,136 is incorrect.

However, there is clearly some 'disagreement' at to what the capacity actually is, as there is a clear variation between the safety certificate figures, as posted by @Storck@Storck, and the figures posted by the Club on the official website.

Below, are the figures, as stated by the Club on the official website. I've added the comparative safety certificate figures* in brackets:
Morrisons Family Stand (Main Stand) 9,004 (*9,135)
Bradford Lifts Stand (Midland Road) 4,500 (*4,435)
    The Kop 7,392 (*7,486)
TL Dallas Stand (Bradford End) 1,644 (*1,610)
    North West Corner 2,300 (*2,223)

    Total Capacity 24,840 (*24,889)

The highest attendance, in the stadium's current format, was the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation match against Liverpool in 2019, which produced an official attendance of 24,343. I'd say, realistically, that's probably the limit. Then deduct any closed off areas for segregation purposes (e.g. Midland Road seats between home and away fans).

On that basis, if we've lost a few hundred seats in Midland Road, plus a few hundred at the front of the kop, we are probably looking at a sell out capacity somewhere in the region of 23,500 for the Leyton Orient match.

I’m probably being completely miserable, but tomorrow feels like a massive anti climax for what should have been achieved this season given the squad that we’ve had and the apparent money being spent?

I’d take a boring 0-0 now, as I think we’ll end up playing Northampton who I’d much rather play that Carlisle or Salford (especially with McAleny).

Let’s hope it isn’t like the Crewe game a decade or so ago when Donaldson and Powell (I think?) ripped us apart!
