I don't even want to think about playing in this bloody division next season. If we do then this season has been utter abject failure yet again and i'll call into question the credentials of the manager and the recruitment set up.

 

easier to blame the owners ............ folk going on about Rupp getting suckered in by Edin the same Edin who suckered thousands of fans into parting with there hard earned money to back his brain dead scheme ............... Rupp ain’t the issue this season ............ Hughes has had everything he’s asked for and if we do fail it will have nothing to do with Rupp it will be down to Hughes alone I ain’t gonna start ripping him to bits but let’s be right any half decent manager at this level would have walked that league with the squad

 

What makes you qualified to call into question the credentials of MH or the recruitment set up. Just curious.

It’s been a big frustration for years now, we seem to use 3 or 4 loan spots on squad fillers, we may as well just have one or two of the young lads on the bench. It’s actually an improvement as well that’s the bad thing the fact one or two are actually in the first team.

Loans should only come in to upgrade the first 11.

 

This is one of the reasons I thought we would finish outside the play offs.

Plus something the club and @wetherbywhaler has been guilty of in the past. The club keeps on doing it and never learns!! Not helping at all.

Would this be the same loan Dennis that you claimed he never gave to the club as it wasn’t mentioned at companies house? I spoke to both Sparks and Mason in 2019 and both said he had bailed the club out financially, you absolutely dismissed this as nonsense.

 

I didn't realise i needed a qualification to pose a question. Its this sort of post that pisses me off most on any sort of forum, you might as well just do away with debate on forums as clearly i don't have UEFA A licence on football coaching and management. If I remember rightly, didn't Hughes in the summer say he wanted loan players who were used to playing infrint of crowds?.... all well and good loaning players from bigger clubs, but none of these lads had enough game experience, let alone experience with pressure.

Really bad recruitment looking back. Especially the January lads.

It’s not much different Dave to Rhodes and his dad totally standing by while Richmond bankrupt the club.

Add Harratt to the list okay the end was out of our hands with his actions, but he barely played anyway.

 

Not just the loan market has been a let down,
Vadaine Oliver given a 3 year deal yet suffering knocks in training means he struggles to make the bench
Derbyshire, struggled to get fit for L2 and given a year and a half deal
Jake Young loaned out but still on contract until 2025
Ryan East, who struggles to freshen up the midfield with meaningful game-time is here until 2024
