    I'd say he's put several pounds on. He looked a big unit, in the flesh, last night. I went with my son, who'd not been for several years. When the teams came out he said "who the hell's that?"

    It's because he's not scored for a game or so.

    He's exactly the same weight all the time but he's "fat and overweight" when he's not scoring and "a bit leaner" when he's just netted a brace.

    Lol. I’ll certainly be going to wembley mate, if we get there, but I’ll be driving there and back in the day. Trains are too unpredictable, hotels are pathetically expensive, coaches take too long

    Done it before, and I’ll do it again

    I always thought VP was a small pitch, narrow but reasonably long, no dirty jokes now.
    sizes taken from wiki, so might not be completely accurate

    You think my observation is based on his recent form? Not at all. He looked significantly more overweight last night than I've seen him for a while. If my perception is wrong fair enough but it's not remotely based on his performance.

    No. It's a common theme on this forum with Cook.

    Somehow he can drop a couple of stone between Saturdays depending on if he's scored or not.

    I don't see what 'common themes on this forum' have to do with my simple observation that he looked overweight. Maybe it's because it's the first game iv watched on TV this season but in the pre match player profiles he looked significantly out of shape.
