I reckon he’s one of those managers who is great at the smaller, limited, underdog clubs, but wrong fit for us.

Has done a great job at Barrow but not for me.

Swindon did concede 4 second half goals tbf.
Not sure we're in a position to add anyone?
You would think GA will want to get 4/5 out first.

I’ve never understood the interest in him, sure get a manager who’s earned his stripes in non league and worked their way up but not just any name. Evatt and Wild for instance are two totally different characters and playing styles. Wild plays counter attacking football even at home, we simply can’t do that at VP as it showed with Adams, who is very similar to Wild.

Agree completely, City are better off without that Muppet, thankfully you City fans don't have to listen to the crap he comes out with on Radio Cumbria. The guy makes Klopp sound like a peace loving choir boy.

    Definitely NOT!!!
I'd rather employ Donald Duck to be honest.
Nowt wrong with Simmo though really, we've been slaughtered with injuries and suspensions, and to date nobody has wiped the floor with us. Take yesterday for example we were actually the better side, and it was a sodding deflected cross that undone us.
Anyway enough of my whinging as I'm starting to realise I'm sounding like Pete Wild. LOL
By the next home game we should be under new stewardship, with our all American super dooper rich family having at last taken over, oh I can feel it now.......... "WORLD DOMINATION IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER".
Bloody strong Beer is this I'm drinking tonight. :p

I think our full backs need to move the ball much quicker, maybe take a chance or two. I personally don't get the huge hype over Pointon, but he has got quick feet and can turn on sixpence. It doesn't matter if he has a man on his back. Get the ball to him early and let him try and turn his man. Same with Wilson on the other wing

I stayed at the end just to watch the Barrow "celebrations". Honestly you would have thought they had just won the Champions League with Wild fist pumping towards the away following.

    Reminded me of this scene.

A bit if a random observation for yesterday, although I have seen it a few times recently.

Has anyone else noticed how fast Smallwood sprints off the pitch when substituted? He seems appears to find a different gear whenever his number is displayed by the fourth official.

If he could transfer that pace into a real game time situation there could possibly be a real player in the somewhere

Your super dooper new owners don't have any rich friends with a penchant for wasting it on extravagant things like shite league 2 football clubs do they? Asking for a curious German league 2 club owner.....

Well he NEVER has a good word to say about the opposition, take for example when we wopped them at Brunton Park (5-1) last season, he never stopped complaining about the first goal, how it was at least 3 yards offside, in reality it was very, very close, and how do I know? well we stand in exactly the position of the alleged offence and Mellish was definitely onside, as I said 'close' but onside.
But according to him if that goal was not given, Barrow would have gone on to win the game............yea rightio Pete.

Ha, very good that Roger, to be honest I haven't a clue, however if I find out they do then I'll let you know.
To be honest looking at it realistically, why would a rich American family want to buy a relatively small English football club 9,000 miles away from their home?
My mate has a theory and he reckons, that one of their sons have been watching the Wr**ham thing and said, Daddy, Daddy can we buy a small English football club, oh please, please, please!! That Carlisle United looked great on the telly that day at Wembley, oh please Daddy, please!

At least the rich yanks will have the funds to bankroll a curry at The Dhaka! Visited this summer after going to Carlisle races. Was a nice dish but we’re used to Bradford prices (cheap) and everywhere else is pricier by comparison!

You can't beat the Curry's in Bradford, full stop!
Never been to the Dhaka in Carlisle, but strangely enough we had a curry last night at the Shaha, which was average to say the least, just about OK but that was about it. The best Curry House in Carlisle is The Stanwix Tandoori (IMO), absolutely lovely stuff
