Sorry Hughes, but I really cannot understand your lack of squad usage. There’s quality within and albeit we don’t see what’s happening in training, why are we seeing the same XI or reluctance to early changes when there are clearly selected players not sharp enough. If ever there was a game and follow up fixture set up for rotation, it was today.

I don't think he will. His selfishness and poor decision making stopped us almost certainly scoring a third and winning the game.

An entertaining game and cant fault us for effort at all, and Hartlepool played their part but that's 2 points dropped. Costelloe with 3 great chances and didn't hit the target once, and then awful decision making with the final pass on that 3 on 2 just after we equalised. Not good enough.

Are you at the game? Watch it on replay. Awful, awful decision making. Who do you want shooting at goal there? Banks from 18 yards with a defender in his way, or Andy Cook on a hat trick one on one from 10 yards. Selfish play, completely the wrong choice.

We’re paying the price for only having Cook who can score. Costelloe with 3 good chances, Banks with 2 good chances and Oliver with a good chance. I think only one of those chances even forced a save.

Also don’t think Walker is immune, he’s supposed to be our creative / goal scoring outlet in midfield and so far he’s offering very little goal threat. Not creating or scoring.

Thought we looked better playing 4231 in the second half. Would like to see us start with that on Tuesday.
