The thing I can't understand about Hughes, is, when Cook was having a bit of a leanspell, he dropped him from the team for about 5/6 matches, why doesn't this happen to, Smallwood, Costello, Walker etc, Cook certainly benefitted from it perhaps it will work the same magic on our lack lustre midfield

 

all i could suggest is he doesn't think the bench is of good enough quality..

personally i would swap at least walker, man looked shattered yesterday

 

I don’t have the stats but can believe Walker is producing much more since returning to the first team. 2 goals and 0 assists for Walker? Chapman got the assist against Colchester and is that it?

I’m not saying Chapman is the answer just making the point that if Hughes doesn’t fancy him then why not put someone else on the bench who he will use.

The overarching issue for me is that we have a big squad and yet rotate the first team very little and use the bench poorly (ie making changes very late in the game)

A forum usually consists of balanced, reasoned arguments and discussions. Most of your posts border on anger and insults. Maybe you need an anger management course? You seem angry and frustrated. There’s people out there you can talk to you know

 

Serial WUM or not, why does it bother you? Just ignore it.
The whole problem in society today is that people take offence to such petty things and insist people are cancelled.

Agree though, that Banks’s attempt at Newport was it was absolutely lousy. Didn’t even force the keeper to make a save.

In my defence I was at a family wedding on Saturday and couldn't go. I'll pay more attention to set pieces on Tuesday

 

And Tranmere, Doncaster, Walsall and probably a few more I've forgotten.

We've certainly not been overly poor from them this term but the 2 central defenders probably need to start chipping in.

 

That’s more accurate, Platty hit a post against Colchester and Stubbs was unlucky not to score from a shot against Newport I think. We soon forget what’s gone , we have had a few as you suggest Dave.
