I doubt Ryan would refer to his own appointment as 'window dressing'.

 

Just an aside It looks like the takeover of Burnley will be happening this week and there were previous rumours that the existing owners there might have an interest along with possibly Dave Baldwin in city. Might be+interesting

 

The only thing I would disagree with is bringing back McCall in February without interviewing anybody else. It struck me then as a lazy appointment to boost season ticket sales and it does to this day.

 

What source do you have for the current owner looking at city?

I don't think there's any proof that Garlick will be interested in Bradford City. A statement like that while he owns Burnley isn't feasible.

But he did go to university in Bradford having grown up in Burnley, so he may have an affinity for the city.

 

Lots of crossover plus the Baldwin relationship, who knows.

 

If it ends the Rupp nonsense, and Baldwin is installed as CEO, then it can't happen quickly enough.

 

A men, would be a great result plus bring back some stability plus credibility to Bradford City

Not sure it was the present Burnley owner Mike Garlick who was party to any bid for the club, Dave Baldwin was mentioned, but obviously until the club is sold we can only hope the rumour has some merit.

 

Burnley have a reputation for keeping the purse strings tight under Garlick. The so-called ‘powder store’ is a standing joke with their fans. Even so, they still continue to hold their own in the Premiership. I wouldn’t be against a takeover, but wouldn’t expect Garlick to start splashing the cash.

 

It was mentioned months ago purely as a rumour that a director of Burnley and Baldwin were interested so we shall see

 

Baldwin would be taking a massive backward step coming back to City.

When will some of our fans wake up and see that we aren't a decent investment, we've basically no assets.

Think how.long it took Rhodes and Lawn to get shut, and then what we ended up with.

 

He would be coming back as a director though and he is a lifelong fan of the club. But it’s only a rumour one day the club will change hands

Well Garlick and Banaszkiewicz are officially out. They will remain at Burnley as directors.
