If a manager said we’re building here, we’re going to build a squad around POC, Foulds, Cooke and Vernam (add or delete players as you see fit), they’re going to be the core of this club as we progress back to where Rupp found us, we’ll add experience and quality and play some decent football, I’d buy that. I’d like a team we can all back like we did with the 12/13 squad, players we still talk about a decade later. Create a club feel again rather than what we have.

Do that, and without Sparks’ daft comments about promotion or bust that were destined to come back and haunt him, and you might get the fans back onside again.

 

The recruitment has been a shambles. His way of chasing a game is to just crowbar as many strikers and numbers 10s on the pitch at once and hope for the best.

Morais was on commentary yesterday and said he's never seen a squad look so tired after 60 minutes and it's only mid February. Said every time he sees us, the players all struggle after about 70 minutes, which shouldn't be a thing by this stage of a season. Something that really needs looking at.

 

It was there was unrest and Stuart agreed to spread his contract over so it cost the club very little and it gave him the best opportunity to turn it round

 

When hiring Adams, Sparks forgot about the fans.

Sparks got excited about a man working on a small budget at Morecambe and getting them up but Bradford City is a club that needs two things 1) A manager they can connect with 2) decent football.

This is what happens when you hire a novice CEO. Don’t do their homework correctly and get excited.

Now he needs to just get rid.

 

I think good football is over played and building for the future, while I agree what hope do we have with an owner with no interest and a CEO who went back on his new found philosophy for the club after 6 months?

The football we played under Parky was garbage first season, but at least you could see the was trying to get rid of the crap. However we had Baldwin, Lawn and Rhodes all there everyday supporting the club with experience to boot. I can’t see when this circle of sacking managers will end.

 

It’s up to him to understand the club. We don’t need a McCall which fans love overly but we need a manager that isn’t like ice.

Adams just isn’t right for the club.

 

How long will you give a new manager will it be the first loss when he is described by you as “Shit”

 

Something I agree with Park on. Let’s be honest all this talk of sacking the manager fixing things has been said time and time again, a few losses and we’ll be back in the same boat.

 

We have to accept we are a League 2 football club for a reason. We haven't been good enough over the last 3 season's to be anything else.

We aren't going to see football like Real Madrid every week.

Having said that, Adams needs to go because he has drained all hope.

 

At first glance Adams was the right appointment, dig a bit deeper into his history and with the benefit of hindsight we all know how it’s turned out.

Oh I agree and if we were getting the results and Adams wasn’t alienating the fan base I’d happily let him continue, I don’t care how we get promoted but some on here obviously do or are saying they do anyway. Exeter have been in league 2 about 10 years now playing this attractive football, it’s not really the most efficient way to get promoted in a league full of cloggers. If we’re going to try play more attractive football then the new guy will have to be given time, I’m talking potential a few seasons not a few months.

 

No manager will be set up for success here. Thats not to say that Adams is the right manager for us. He's not, and never was. He was brought in because Sparks thought he'd be suited to delivering promotion on a modest budget.

 

The fans may have wanted Adams, but he does not want the fans.
It might be his way. He has just not connected with the supporters in any way ,shape or form.
If the football was alright , you could accept his manerism.
If true that yesterday , he told fans that were questioning him , to shut up, something he alluded to in his interview , well enough said. He is the manager, its his team and tactics and deserves criticism, as long as its not abusive.
