Why would he play him right back when his position is midfield, strange call that as if we didnt have enough problems you'd start playing players out of their natural position, and you give Bowyer stick.

Reason why he might start at RB as because our RB more than likely won't be here next season and Devine isn't the answer in midfield.

 

How can you start making demands before we even know the squad for next season? Yes, we’d all love to bounce straight back, but is it that easy? Don’t forget much if this shocking squad are tied to us for next season.

If Rupp and Rhodes can move on the majority and still provide a competitive budget for Bowyer to bring in better replacements, then fair enough.

But if the players refuse to move and we are stuck with them, why do you think we should still be up there for promotion? These players are garbage and will struggle again next season. Our ambitions for next season rely solely on one thing...... getting rid of them!!!

I don't get it why Evans would be our Messiah, let's just randomly pick a manager out of a job and say he could have saved us, what about paying Bowyer off and giving McCall another crack.
Bowyer has had plenty of games to see how the majority of this squad perform both on the training pitch and game time.
He will have a rough idea of who he thinks can do a job next season and do his best to help the ones he doesn't fancy out of the club, that won't be easy with contracted players but he knew the situation when he took the job.

Agree that Bowyer’s record looks poor, but he’s working with fecking imbeciles. You do understand that’s why Hopkin left? He didn’t want the relegation on his CV but could see what was happening. Losing at Walsall, when they were falling like a stone and reduced to 10-men after 5mins, after leading was the telling point.

These players are the cause, not Collins, Hopkin or Bowyer.

Look at Friday as an example. We bossed the opening 10+ mins and should have been 2 up. Then we switch off and they score from their 1st effort. We still create more chances and wrong decisions by players cost us. Then NKP gets himself an unnecessary red card. How the chuff can Bowyer legislate for that?

And these types of issues happen every game. Either poor finishing or woeful defending causes the team to simply crumble. If the players have no backbone, that’s not Bowyer’s fault

Well never know you think he would I disagree, take Cadiss out of that squad and we have very few who could punch their way out of a paper bag.
Chicksen, Doyle, KP, Payne, O'Connell you only have to see KP and O'Connell at set pieces bottle out of areial battles.
We posses very few naturally aggresive players who can roll their slevess up and battle for their team mates and fans.

Agree, he has been injury prone and we’d need cover. But if we go into next season with either Devine or Riley, we are in big trouble

 

You could be correct Cadiss might not be here next season, for no other reason than his wage demands.
There is no one in the present side that shows more passion on the pitch than Cadiss if we can afford his wage demands not only will he be a very good asset to Bradford City but IMO he will be the skipper of the team.

 

Yes, Mellor did play him at RB and brought him straight into the team in his 1st game in charge but Mellor is injury prone and Bowyer needs to decide if he needs cover for Mellor or better player.

Devine can play RB so it will be no shock mate for Bowyer to have a look at him there.

More than likely Mellor will be our number 1 RB next season but it's a risk backing him to be fit all season.

Bowyer 1st game Cadiss was dropped. Cadiss will know Mellor is a Bowyer fav and might want to leave.

 

I get the call that Caddis shows more fight, desire etc than the rest of the squad combined. But I don’t get the clamour for him being one of our better players. Started off well but over time his form deteriorated significantly. He got skinned quite a few times against Posh in the cup and since then, his form has been patchy.

Chicksen gets a lot of stick for not blocking crosses, but if you analyse the goals conceded, an equal amount of goals/chances, comes from our right side. Even Fleetwood’s opener came from him napping. It’s been happening more and more, but he gets a free pass from criticism
