I have no idea what the lay off of three 3year contracts will cost the club but I think Edin should pay that himself!

That would be my view. Which makes it cruicial that you have professionals having the last say normally the manager as it is he that will pay with his job it it doesn’t go well. If I pay a professional for their expertise why would I argue with them.

 

I agree. Unfortunately for Hopkin it's what he's faced with so we have to play our role and give him support. Looks like he's got beggar all options though. We need to get in some out of contract guys.

 

All he can do, for now, is what he did today. Try and focus on establishing some defensive shape, resilience and fitness. It’ll be dull but it might grind out a few points over the next couple of months.

He has to try and keep us hanging in there and convince Rupp to spend what’s needed on 3-4 quality players in January. Minimum.

We have no real options to change it round right now.

I agree. He's struggling for options and all this naval gazing from the fans isn't helping. Edin's fecked it with poor recruitment, desperately exasperated with injuries in midfield, possibly because we've cut corners in poor fitness and having insufficient staff but Hopkin has got what he's got so all we can do is cheer him on.
