    I don't know what a number 10 means, sorry.

    I know we usually play with two up front and whenever he was one of those notional two up front we rarely had a lot of attacking threat. He just clutters up the midfield and has very little impact in either scoring or assisting.

    When you say 'he played well' did you watch him play, if so how many times, or are you referencing newspaper reports, if so, which ones?

    I’ve let myself down there because I hate the phrase “number 10”, but everyone seems to use it these days. I believe it means to play behind the front two, or behind an out and out striker, eg in a 4-4-1-1 or 4-3-1-2 etc.

    We live in very strange times and to be honest I am on the whole just happy to have a player who wants to be here back at the club. I actually think Billy could be very useful in the season ahead, no hes not a world beater but fellas league 2 is going be a bloody tough ride for ALL clubs next season - I might be alone here but my perspective on what I want from my football club has changed a bit. I cant wait for us to get up and running again but I am also realistic as what it means in the bigger scheme of things.
    Lets be honest some on here moan over every signing we make so someone like BC was never going to be a popular option with them! If we can get a committed team out on the pitch next season who give it a really good go I will happy and behind them all the way.

    Not sure his position and not sure what the means for the now 4 other strikers we have at the club? If he is to play behind like before are we just going for one up front? From 4?

    it’s a meh signing for me. Not sure if he still has the legs and not sure totally on his best position. Might be better in a hopefully more confident side this time around than last time.
    Would have preferred some real pace but here we are. All the best to him but it’s not a patch on The lad bolton signed this week if we were in for him?

    A No.10 used to be inside left, these days a No.10 is a link player just behind the front two.

    We've never played well with a 10. Clarke did his best work for us at the side of Hanson. FFS don't bring him back.
