    I'd argue he will make more of an impact than Akpan - Anderson etc that he replaces .

    We live in very strange times and to be honest I am on the whole just happy to have a player who wants to be here back at the club. I actually think Billy could be very useful in the season ahead, no hes not a world beater but fellas league 2 is going be a bloody tough ride for ALL clubs next season - I might be alone here but my perspective on what I want from my football club has changed a bit. I cant wait for us to get up and running again but I am also realistic as what it means in the bigger scheme of things.
    Lets be honest some on here moan over every signing we make so someone like BC was never going to be a popular option with them! If we can get a committed team out on the pitch next season who give it a really good go I will happy and behind them all the way.

    Useful in what way?

    Queue the God-awful weekly, never ending debate about how he's not a striker and not a midfielder and we have to build the team around a 30+ year old.

    Ridiculous signing.

    Keeping Vaughan is key for me now. If McCall uses him better than Bowyer ever did, he should be aiming for 20 goals for us

    This signing sums the club up. Over a 1000 players allegedly available and as always, we look backwards for players we let go, not once but twice. The whole set up needs shaking up. Clarke wasn't that influential at his best in my opinion. Had it been Gary Jones or an Andrew Davies type of player, I could understand, but not a crocked, no scoring, with no ideal position player. There are dozens of players up and down the country with that resume.

    Let's hear from the club what the long term plan is, of which Clarke isn't a part of.

    Well people say they want possession football rather than long ball and Billy Clarke is well suited to that. He Keeps possession well but he is not a striker he is more of an advanced midfielder

    Never same after injury think he went his last 21 games for us without scoring....yet we've signed him twice since
