They have suffered only 51 deaths, 15 of which were on a cruise ship that docked there. They hit their peak on 28th March and downward trend since then. So that great country is more able to get back to some form of normality sooner than most

 

You’re very optimistic on the testing situation, it’s looking unlikely we’ll be testing the numbers needed anytime soon.

 

No I am not mate for the general public but privately you can buy testing and the sporting bodies will buy them plus we are taking a month or 2 down the line here.

Behind Closed Doors are already happening in others countries and others are planning to do it. So you learn from them. Other sports doing it also.

 

It’ll be longer than a month we won’t even be near out of a lockdown by then.

 

It will be end of May/June mate.

Sport has to find a solution to operate and this is the start.

I doubt fans will not be able to go to games this year I doubt but as I say boxing and darts are key to that for me. Darts claims it's returning on July 30th.

 

Lets have on date of when people will be happy to go back in town shopping with governments blessing, what is "soon from now" ?.

I believe June the shops will be back open.

THERE IS NO VACCINE!

 

According to Sir Patrick John Vallance it will be Late May early June AT BEST before we get results that this virus has hit it's peak, your guessing again.

Mate, this isn't going on until after June. The job retention and self employed incentives are ending in June and with a cost over over 2.4b a day you can dream on if businesses won't be open in June.

Neither you or I will be making that decision with regards retail and leisure thank goodness, and if THERE IS NO VACCINE that will make getting back to any sort of normality even more difficult, can't you see that.
As you well know the scientists are saying 12 to 18 months before a vaccine is available no government are going to allow everyone back to normal June or July, I will agree workers will have had to have had a test to allow them to return but we are trying to second guess this virus, most Scientist/medical people are saying they believe it could return before an anti vaccine is available, God that is a horrible thought.

The time at the minute is to slow down the spread, to get more testing & PPE equipment and build more hospitals should be done April/May it has nothing to do with a peak. It's about getting prepared because we didn't do it it February.

 

Mike Ashley and other wealthy people like him will be way down the pecking order of who rattles the governments cage before they actually take notice.
Then we are anything like back to normal working people will take months if not years to get back where they were some never never getting back because they lost love ones.
I'm sure Rishi will make the right call as and when, if it means the government easing back on lock down or restricted movement easing people back into work he and the government will have costed it, do you really believe it will be everyone back to work late June if the death rate has peaked, I just can't see that happening.

 

Apart from sales on the day of food, drink and merchandise possibly Bradford City would be in a better place than most having not to rely on fans attending on the day ?.

Crowds in football might not come back until a vaccine is found and that could be 12-18 months.

So unless Bradford City and the likes want to go out of business then they will have to work with the EFL, tv companies and bookies to get games back on.

No legal cases will take place as other countries are playing football behind close doors.
