Isn’t it free if you pay your cash for next season?

    Not certain on that
It does however beg the question why the club are trying to get monies in early
The season ticket deadline for cheap prices was early too
Makes me wonder what funds we are going to have for next season
The cynic in me thinks the club needs cash and quickly
May be way off the mark

I don't think you're being cynical, I believe its been done for the very reason the club /Stefan needs to have an idea what sort of take up the club will get.
I think @Park bantam@Park bantam.will be correct with his comment that the deadline will be extended.

    It has to be really
Not sure if there has been a figure released as to how many season tickets have been sold
but I think the take up will be well down until we see exactly where the club will be
This summer is going to be very interesting both on and off the pitch we need to survive in L1 or i genuinely fear the worst

I could be wrong but not sure the season ticket deadline is any different to previous years.

It is about the same as it has been previously, but it will probably get moved again like usual

Think you're right Marshy but after this season I think people need to be given as much time as possible to pluck up the courage to go buy another season ticket.

I agree with you. Last season, STs went on sale at the early bird price on March 7th. This season, they went on sale a month earlier on Feb 6th. Closing date in early April is very similar.

Putting STs on sale a month earlier than last season has the sign of a business desperate for cash.

The purpose of language and communication is completely lost. If the audience cannot understand it, that’s not the audiences fault it’s the writers

I partly agree but this season, position wise, is very different to last and the last few seasons. I guess whilst trying to get money in and to see where we are financially/budget wise they are also trying to see what kind of crowds we would have through season tickets alone despite which league we are.

These were my thoughts The club needs to have some income for Next Season whatever league we are in
Spending next seasons season ticket revenue this season is a recipe for disaster
I only hope someone at the club realises this
Sounds like we are in a bigger pickle than i thought

    Hi Steve,

    You raise a valid point.

The Ambassador promotion came as an idea from me. Since it's launch in 2007 it's not been heavily promoted and there are a lot of misconceptions about the Ambassadors which is purely down to the fact that the scheme hasn't been communicated. That's by and large down to the fact that the original Ambassadors who started out over 10 years ago simply renew and renew (including me). In business, that's a nice problem to have and a great legacy of Mark Lawns.

The money goes into the upcoming season's accounts.

I wanted to bring 2 more people in. Two Ambassadors who travel home and way equates to 120 average season ticket sales net of VAT - So it's a good line of income. To promote the scheme I wanted to give a bonus to early adopters. The lifetime value of the sign-ups will benefit the club far beyond this season.

If you're interested in joining or know somebody who might be, send me a private message.

    Thanks

Good to see posts from both you and Roger, gives a different side to things I had no real idea on what the purpose of the ambassadors was before Roger posted.
