BCST statement

the trust are laughable.

I'm pretty sure it's just Manny in his bedroom at his parents house, typing furiously, under some sort of illusion that anyone is the least bit interested, and will read what he has to say.
no one cares Manny, you spend hours typing the same thing every other month. do something useful.

might aswell pin a header to his facebook page that says "get behind the lads, ffs unless otherwise stated" that would save him having to do his statements at all.

When is someone in the so called media going to really dig into the state of Bradford City? When it's too late? It seems like a happy boys club. Can't say this because I don't want to upset anyone at Bradford City!

Mr Rhodes is a great man without a doubt but come on people we need to know what kind of mess this club really is in and Rupp's intentions. 2m in the hole I get that but how much danager is this club in. If it's not then happy days let the recruitment of new players, maybe a new manager start but it does seem that the wool is being pulled over everyone's eyes a little at the minute.

 

He doesn't know what the club think of them? Well,I'm not surprised.If you want to
get a message across you have to clearly articulate what it is you are trying to say!
Also,say something important and meaningfull.

If the BCST are the "link" between supporters and club then it needs a rethink as
there isn't clarity in this type of message.

 

But they are the "largest group of supporters". however that might be gauged .

Though I'd already lost the will after the early Hopkins' instead of Hopkin's.

 

Could have saved everyone a lot of time and fit all that into 3 lines.

I only wanted to read a half of it - But felt compelled to read the whole lot.

There are far too many questions than answers, regarding 'our' Trust, as things stand
Time for a mass overhaul, IMO - Not just within the Club ....... But with the 'Inbetweenies' too. For I do not think they represent MY idea of a Supporters Trust, nor many others, come to think of it.

 

I really think you will learn .......... There is no such thing as a 'Free lunch !!'

What is the point of the Bradford City Supporter's Trust?

This latest ramble is nothing the club itself can't say in a far more coherent and persuasive manner.

The trash Manny wrote previously about why the BCST didn't get behind the anti-Edin 'vitriol' (LOL - are you kidding? Calling out an obvious failure's obvious failure is 'vitriol'?) was an abysmal piece of work. He effectively said they wanted to sit on the fence and dilly-dally until they could 'understand' Edin's rationale.

What good was understanding Rahic's rationale? He had no idea what he was doing, he was burying the club, he was doing untold damage that has, in the opinions of actual, real, genuinely knowledgeable people set us back YEARS.

But oh, don't worry about that, the SUPPORTERS TRUST have no interest in 'vitriol' or effecting change because what would be far more productive was a bit of a closer look at WHY Rahic was running things so utterly terribly.

Yeah, right.

That makes sense.

I'm sure their intentions are good and all, but Jesus Christ, what a waste of time they are.

 

I do not and never will believe the trust, I have had many dealings with them in the past when we were in serious trouble.... I have never been and never will be a fan of the trust.

I won’t bore you with more details but in a nutshell, they only ever wanted to take the credit for spotting the club was about to go under and take plaudits for saving it, they tried to highjack our (staff at the time) bandwagon when we, yes we, we were the ones who highlighted the problems and made people aware... they got short shrift that’s for sure..all they wanted was ‘a place on the Board’ and Manny could only ever talk about wanting safe standing, even if removing seats and making a new safe standing area would cost the club money they did not have he didn’t care.... it was always ‘me, me’ me....

Rant over ...

 

They remind me of some sort of lickspittle clan of civil service-type sycophants who will follow the script no matter how moronic, because, as you suggest, it's a pain-free way to ensure continual self-advancement.

Start calling people out, and your progress will be hindered.

How stupid is that when they're actually a supporter's group (supposedly), not wannabe board members.

Genuinely worthless outfit at best - dangerous and misguided at worst.
