It makes no sense whatsoever and is almost like a load of words written in the hope edin still wants to meet up with him.

    Garbage statement and totally pointless.

Can someone tell me what a dictatorial manor is. Sounds like 10 Downing Street.

Are you saying Manny is really Edin? We learn something every day.

This is just an embarrassment, if this is the 'official supporter representation' to Rahic's disastrous reign, then it's a pointless exercise.

'We can't be nasty to Mr Rahic, because that could be construed as bullying' is a particular lowlight.

He's destroyed the club from top to bottom FFS, you don't have to be insulting or bullying to get that point across.

As Dennis Healey once said of Geoffrey Howe: " It's like being savaged by a dead sheep."

They remind me of the Tooting Popular Front in Citizen Smith. Talk a lot ("when the revolution comes brothers and sisters") but don't do anything because they can't (and deep down don't really want to).

Reading the BCST statement is seriously embarrassing. It is clear that they do not represent the majority of fans. There are fans on here who are members who can write in recognisable English, so I am not sure why this has been written by someone who clearly struggles with English grammar.

Firstly I am not clear as to why they felt the need to put out a statement. Yes they have been challenged, quite right too, however the defensive stance is even more embarrassing than their original minutes. This trust has quite a high profile and football club’s do have to meet up with them, therefore there needs to be a serious look at their reason for being, and there approach to representing supporters.

I couldn't agree more. What Manny expected from such an incomprehensible, badly written, poorly structured public statement defeats me!

If that is the standard of communication the Trust issues, then I'd suggest the group isn't fit for purpose.
Maybe representations to Supporters Direct should be made.

    From this:-

Why we didn't get behind the anti-Edin vitriol
Our members who have been so over many years will understand that our relationship with the Club has had it's ups and downs to say the least, but our mandate has been to try and engage and show willing to work with the owners.

We understand and appreciate the anger against Edin Rahic as we are well aware that things were not good at the Club.

Our position was that we wanted to help the Club in any way we could. In truth, the Club has not always been reciprocal in its willingness to work with us, and this has been the situation for many years.

It is very easy to dismiss us as being 'up Edin's arse'. We have never been up anyone's 'arse' to see what it is like up there. One would suspect it is very smelly. But seriously, we found it difficult to be at the forefront of such a negative witchunt.

Furthermore, with respect of the allegations that Edin forced his way, imposing his model of running a football club upon staff, we could not oppose it by imposing the mood of supporters onto him because we would be accused of double standards - to put it simply, we couldn't ourselves promote anti-bullying in the workplace whilst conducting ourselves in a dictatorial manor could we?

We wanted to know and understand why Edin's motives in his decision-making, but this could never be be revealed in one sitting with him. It would've been impossible. We would've been there all night and all morning. If we were ever to have an understanding it would have to be based on several meetings with Edin and other senior representatives of the Club for us to allow us to assist with advise in putting things right and addressing our members and supporters at the same time.

At this point in time, we welcome Julian Rhodes coming back to the Club, however we do not know what his strategy is or what he thinks of the Trust. I'm sure he has an opinion because he has been at the Club for a long time and indeed we have had meetings with him many years ago. I wasn't active then.

In terms of a 'growing movement' we are growing and we can see that because members are joining. There is interest in our facebook groups and therefore we are aware that fans are debating about us.

We live in very uncertain times.. Not just as a result of the Club's situation but politically, economically and socially as well, and all those things come into play about how people think. And, it is about how we position ourselves with this backdrop. We cannot isolate the clubs' issues from society's ever changing drama as well. The Trust positions is key to leading a movement: - a campaign based on how to improve the way our football clubs should be run will be the key to our success and therefore history will judge us on our efforts in doing this. There will be plenty of opportunities to assist us in this.

    Yours fraternally,

    Manny Dominguez

    BCST Chair

    To this:-

The Trust's position in respect of Bradford City Co-Owner Edin Rahic perhaps needs to be clarified.

Over the years BCST has attempted to establish an effective relationship with the club, which has met with mixed success.

We acknowledge the feelings of mistrust and anger many supporters have in respect of Mr Rahic.

As an organisation we seek to support the Club, although this has not always been reciprocated.

We have attempted to build a relationship, which some supporters may feel is inappropriate.

As a Supporters organisation, it is not our role to try to interfere with the management style of the owner(s).

One meeting with Mr Rahic, is not sufficient to build a relationship. We had hoped to have further meetings and to have an open and frank exchange of views.

We welcome Julian Rhodes return to City and hope his experience will assist in building a constructive relationship.

The BCST is a dynamic and growing organisation.

We hope that our actions in an uncertain world, will help the club to reconnect with supporters, and that we can work together to improve the situation, both on and off the pitch.

    All the best.

Not that difficult and I am sure it could be re-tweaked, but as a 10 minute exercise, I think it is far more credible and does not require a PhD in English to either compose it or read it.

That pseudo-Marxist nonsense reads exactly like all the deluded Commie revolutionaries that higher education is littered with.

Embarrassing from a supposed formal organisation.

Careful, you get admonished for using Political analogy on here.
I think it's the online Momentum lot that take particular exception.

If you think I have any connection or even sympathy with Momentum then you are sadly misinformed. So I suggest you pack it in with your less than subtle attempts with the insults.

This is the City Talk forum where we discuss City related issues. There are more than enough issues at VP to discuss without reverting to the pseudo-political nonsense. Overt political statements have no part to play here. I'll repeat what I said earlier .. Keep the political statements of any persuasion to the political threads elsewhere on the site.

Bit of an over reaction Dennis to what was a humourous post not a political one but if it has offended your sensitive soul will try and obey your dictat ( Even though probably broached in the past by some without the same recourse in other posts ) The power of moderation is a power some fail to control,

If this does come from them then it is a disgrace.....I’ve read it three times and I still don’t get it....

If it is legit then tbh I’m not surprised.....

Isn't this organisation the 'supporter's trust', the clue being in the name...

On the subject of the interview, they bottled it, they had the opportunity but chose not to ask ‘the awkward questions we all needed answers to....this organisation should have pressed him and pressed him hard for answers much much earlier and not given up until they had them...

Personally I do not 'trust' anything they say.....

After all, the idea was never to bully the man but to get him to open up with dialogue... and I'm afraid he should've expected the response he got from fans by remaining silent ... Just my my opinion ...tongue in cheek of course lol
